Smooth, thick contact points help protect the tire and hub. The demounting tool has a nylon roller, while the rim protector is made of reinforced, wear-resistant nylon. The bar is made of forged steel with an anti-rust coating, and the handles have a rubber grip. Applying a suitable lubricant during use is recommended to reduce friction.
