Someone wrote about the viewing angle. It is an IPS panel and not VA; it is practically the safest type of display in terms of viewing angle (above it are OLEDs, of course).

I got the 27-inch one. It has a bad viewing angle for its price, worse than the 27UL500 I had (a 5-year-old monitor). What’s the point of the extra colors if there’s a visible gradient from the center to the corners?
But the most important thing is that it has noticeable coil whine (you can hear a high-pitched whistle when it’s operating).
It went in for service and LG does not consider it a problem - they won’t repair it. So apparently it’s not a problem to have a box in front of you that screeches for 8-10 hours a day. Even if the monitor is brand new, with an external power supply.

This particular monitor is one of the most complete options in its category and after 2 years of use I can say that it is fully worth its price.

The QHD resolution (2560x1440) at 32" is the ideal balance—you get detail without putting too much strain on your system.
In gaming, the monitor is excellent. The 180Hz makes a huge difference in shooters and generally in fast-paced games, while the 1ms GTG response time keeps the image clear without ghosting. Combined with sync technologies (G-Sync/FreeSync), gameplay is smooth and without tearing.
The user experience is comfortable. IPS panels have better viewing angles and this is evident in practice, especially at such a large size. HDR is present, it helps a bit with the image, but the main strong point is the overall consistent quality and not the “impressive HDR.”
In terms of construction, the monitor is sturdy and reliable. In 2 years of use, it has not shown any issues (dead pixels, flickering, instability, etc.), which says a lot about its quality.

Fantastic color, very good brightness, and its blacks, even though it's IPS, are excellent. The corners don't gray out like in previous generations. They nailed it with the nano IPS technology. It makes a noticeable difference. It doesn't look like other washed-out IPS panels.
Super easy menu, I copied settings from someone on Reddit and honestly, it's amazing. Coming from a five-year-old VA monitor, with the same response time at 144Hz 1440p, it's truly night and day. Incredibly smooth image, no ghosting at all. Also, it might be the only IPS monitor at this price where HDR actually makes the image better. Get it with your eyes closed.

Transition from 1080p to this monitor. Incredible difference, the colors are very vivid, 180Hz native with overclock to 200 automatically every time you start a game. Classic LG menu, easy and nothing is missing. You obviously have to play with the settings to suit each person, but the result is very high quality for this price (€249). Many ports at the back and one works as a USB HUB with the computer. On PS5, HDR works normally, 120Hz at 1440p, but VRR doesn't work (personally not important). Highly recommended if it drops to €200, no questions asked.

Πολλές υποδοχές από πίσω και η μία λειτουργεί ως USB HUB με τον υπολογιστή. Σε PS5 λειτουργεί κανονικά το HDR, 120Hz στα 1440p, αλλά δε παίζει το VRR (αδιάφορο προσωπικά). Συστήνεται αν πέσει στα 200€ με κλειστά μάτια.
Mine arrived with quite a few dead pixels! I didn't bother to send it back! I use it as a second screen for video/streaming/chat/discord/YouTube so I don't care, but I wasted money that I could have used to get a better quality one! I wanted to have an opinion on LG monitors as well and unfortunately I got the worst one.. I have used several monitors from different brands over the years, mostly IPS. This experience with this particular monitor, comparing quality for money, was by far the worst for me!

Αυτή η εμπειρία με τη συγκεκριμένη οθόνη συγκρίνοντας ποιότητα-χρημάτων ήταν μακράν η χειρότερη για μένα!
Amazing screen. It has many settings that, if you look for them a bit, make it even better. Very good image quality and viewing angles, quite good blacks, very decent for the type of screen. Very good ergonomically as the height, orientation, and tilt are easily adjustable. I highly recommend it.

Someone wrote about the viewing angle. It is an IPS panel and not VA; it is practically the safest type of display in terms of viewing angle (above it are OLEDs, of course).

I got the 27-inch one. It has a bad viewing angle for its price, worse than the 27UL500 I had (a 5-year-old monitor). What’s the point of the extra colors if there’s a visible gradient from the center to the corners?
But the most important thing is that it has noticeable coil whine (you can hear a high-pitched whistle when it’s operating).
It went in for service and LG does not consider it a problem - they won’t repair it. So apparently it’s not a problem to have a box in front of you that screeches for 8-10 hours a day. Even if the monitor is brand new, with an external power supply.
Πήρα την 27άρα. Έχει κακή γωνία θέασης για την τιμή της, χειρότερη απo την 27UL500 που είχα (οθόνη 5ετίας). Τι να τα κάνεις τα έξτρα χρώματα αν φαίνεται ορατό ντεγκραντέ απο το κέντρο στις γωνίες;
Το πιο σημαντικό όμως είναι οτι έχει έντονο coil whine (ακούγεται ένα υψίσυχνο σφύριγμα όταν λειτουργεί).
Πήγε για service και η LG δεν το θεωρεί πρόβλημα - δεν την επισκευάζει. Δεν είναι δηλαδή πρόβλημα να έχεις μπροστά σου ένα κουτί που τσιρίζει, επι 8-10 ώρες τη μέρα. Ακόμα και αν η οθόνη είναι ολοκαίνουργια, με εξωτερικό τροφοδοτικό.
This particular monitor is one of the most complete options in its category and after 2 years of use I can say that it is fully worth its price.
The first thing that stands out is the image quality. The IPS panel delivers clear colors, very good brightness, and accurate performance even in everyday use (gaming, browsing, editing). The QHD resolution (2560x1440) at 32" is the ideal balance—you get detail without putting too much strain on your system.
In gaming, the monitor is excellent. The 180Hz makes a huge difference in shooters and generally in fast-paced games, while the 1ms GTG response time keeps the image clear without ghosting. Combined with sync technologies (G-Sync/FreeSync), gameplay is smooth and without tearing.
The user experience is comfortable. IPS panels have better viewing angles and this is evident in practice, especially at such a large size. HDR is present, it helps a bit with the image, but the main strong point is the overall consistent quality and not the “impressive HDR.”
In terms of construction, the monitor is sturdy and reliable. In 2 years of use, it has not shown any issues (dead pixels, flickering, instability, etc.), which says a lot about its quality.

Fantastic color, very good brightness, and its blacks, even though it's IPS, are excellent. The corners don't gray out like in previous generations. They nailed it with the nano IPS technology. It makes a noticeable difference. It doesn't look like other washed-out IPS panels.
Super easy menu, I copied settings from someone on Reddit and honestly, it's amazing. Coming from a five-year-old VA monitor, with the same response time at 144Hz 1440p, it's truly night and day. Incredibly smooth image, no ghosting at all. Also, it might be the only IPS monitor at this price where HDR actually makes the image better. Get it with your eyes closed.

πανευκολο μενου, αντεγραψα ρυθμισεις απο εναν στο Reddit κ πραγματικά φυσαει. ερχομενος απο va monitor πενταετιας, με ιδιο χρονο αποκρισης στα 144hz 1440p, ειναι η μερα με τη νυχτα πραγματικα. τρομερα smooth εικονα, καθολου ghosting. κ επισης, παιζει να ναι το μόνο ips monitor σε αυτα τα λεφτα που το hdr όντως κανει την εικονα καλυτερη. παρτε την με κλειστα ματια.
Transition from 1080p to this monitor. Incredible difference, the colors are very vivid, 180Hz native with overclock to 200 automatically every time you start a game. Classic LG menu, easy and nothing is missing. You obviously have to play with the settings to suit each person, but the result is very high quality for this price (€249). Many ports at the back and one works as a USB HUB with the computer. On PS5, HDR works normally, 120Hz at 1440p, but VRR doesn't work (personally not important). Highly recommended if it drops to €200, no questions asked.

Menu κλασικό πλέον LG, εύκολο και δε λείπει τπτ. Πρέπει να παίξετε με τις ρυθμίσεις για να έρθει στα μέτρα του καθενός προφανώς αλλά το αποτέλεσμα είναι πολύ ποιοτικό σε αυτά τα χρήματα (249€). Πολλές υποδοχές από πίσω και η μία λειτουργεί ως USB HUB με τον υπολογιστή. Σε PS5 λειτουργεί κανονικά το HDR, 120Hz στα 1440p, αλλά δε παίζει το VRR (αδιάφορο προσωπικά). Συστήνεται αν πέσει στα 200€ με κλειστά μάτια.
Mine arrived with quite a few dead pixels! I didn't bother to send it back! I use it as a second screen for video/streaming/chat/discord/YouTube so I don't care, but I wasted money that I could have used to get a better quality one! I wanted to have an opinion on LG monitors as well and unfortunately I got the worst one.. I have used several monitors from different brands over the years, mostly IPS. This experience with this particular monitor, comparing quality for money, was by far the worst for me!

Την έχω σαν δεύτερη οθόνη για video/streaming/chat/discord/YouTube οπότε δεν με ενδιαφέρει, πέταξα λεφτά που θα μπορούσα να πάρω μια καλύτερη ποιοτικά! Ηθελα να έχω άποψη και για οθόνες LG και δυστυχώς απέκτησα την χειρότερη.. Έχω χρησιμοποιήσει αρκετές οθόνες διαφόρων brand όλα αυτά τα χρόνια κυρίως IPS. Αυτή η εμπειρία με τη συγκεκριμένη οθόνη συγκρίνοντας ποιότητα-χρημάτων ήταν μακράν η χειρότερη για μένα!
Amazing screen. It has many settings that, if you look for them a bit, make it even better. Very good image quality and viewing angles, quite good blacks, very decent for the type of screen. Very good ergonomically as the height, orientation, and tilt are easily adjustable. I highly recommend it.

The quality of this monitor is excellent! The contrast is much better than I imagined, as I was afraid the blacks would be gray, but it turns out they are not like that at all. The colors are outstanding and the resolution is very good. (QHD 2560x1440 / 180Hz) It is a positive that the HDMI and DisplayPort cables are included, offering many connection options depending on needs. The only downside is the IPS glow (also known as "IPS backlight bleed"), which all IPS panels exhibit. However, compared to other IPS monitors I have had in the past, it is quite limited.

I bought it for 339 euros with a Black Friday deal, the screen is very good, it easily passed the EIZO monitor test with NO dead pixels, the black is satisfactory, the HDR is a different experience in games and videos, the 180 Hz do a great job. Also, the presets for using the screen in its user-friendly menu are very convenient
