In the new edition of Witness, exactly four players join forces as members of the secret "Witness Agency" to fight crime and solve mysteries! In this cooperative campaign game with 8 connected cases, players first read an introductory prologue and then receive separate sets of clues to examine and memorize.

A case unfolds over four rounds, where a pair of players is directed to whisper the facts they know to a specific person, except for every detail they have learned from previous rounds. After gathering all the memory data for four rounds, players are allowed to take notes on what they can remember before secretly answering three questions about the case. The team's final score is the sum of all correct answers, up to a maximum of 12.
