The board game Intarsia by Pegasus Spiele is a strategy game for 2–4 players, who are tasked with redesigning the parquet floor of Café de Paris. To win the contract, players place wooden pieces on their personal boards and compete to earn victory points and tools that increase a round’s score.
Each decorative pattern is made up of one to four wooden pieces, which are carefully placed from the outside in. Pieces are acquired by playing material cards, while meeting specific pattern requirements can earn players tools. The reverse side of the floor board offers a different version of the game.
