    I have been the owner of the Bosch Mum54 for 2 years now and after the relevant review, below are my comments and final verdict!

    At first glance, the first thing you notice is the unique and distinctive design that distinguishes the MUM series from Bosch, a shape different from what we had seen until then, which does not follow the classic G shape. The arm extends vertically to the body, with the speed dial on the side.

    The mixing attachments, without being particularly sturdy or having anything that makes them stand out, do not appear cheap or low quality in any way, while they attach and detach easily to the arm. The release latch is as soft as it needs to be and the lifting of the arm is smooth.

    The bowl is made of stainless steel and has a capacity of 3.9 liters, with the maximum and minimum capacities being fully satisfactory for recipe preparation. The bowl attaches to the base without any possibility of movement.

    During use, the MUM54 makes the expected noise, even at the highest operating speed, and remains stable on the surface without much shaking. The 7 speed options accomplish all kinds of mixing without any major problems, while the changes are smooth and without (relatively) splattering.

    The Bosch MUM54 has a power of 900W and to push it to its limits, I proceeded to prepare various recipes using all 3 attachments. I tried to push the motor a bit, using the maximum quantities of ingredients allowed by the bowl, as well as the maximum operating time.

    Whisk:
    With the K whisk, I made two recipes, one for cake and cookies. The Bosch MUM54 managed to mix the ingredients adequately, with a little difficulty in smaller quantities. The effectiveness of the 3D planetary motion is evident.

    Dough hook:
    The ingredients for making bread and tsoureki dough were fully and properly mixed. The hook held all the dough and at the end of the mixing, the bowl had almost no traces.

    Wire whip:
    The wire was used to make meringue with only 4 eggs and the result was a tight and fluffy mixture that remained on the attachment. The same fluffy texture was achieved with fresh cream. The 3D planetary motion helps a lot here as well.

    Final Impressions
    Apart from the results and samples of this review, I have been using the food processor relatively frequently for about 1 and a half years, without any complaints about its performance and capabilities.

    So, if you are looking for a branded food processor that can meet your daily needs out of the box, but also have the option to buy additional attachments for additional functions, the Bosch MUM54 is a very good choice, with satisfactory performance and a very good price, around 150€.

    What would I like? A little more stability in the arm, as at high speeds (especially with the dough hook) it moves quite a bit due to the unique design. Also, I would like a slightly more premium feel in the attachments, although in this price range, more expensive attachments would have an impact on some other characteristics of the Bosch MUM54.

    I have had it for 1 month and it is excellent. It doesn't take up much space, I have it permanently on the counter. I have made several desserts and cakes in record time. I haven't used the hook yet. It is almost silent and has a very powerful motor. What else can one ask for with this money?
