    Personally, in my child's Q5 compact camera, they did not work and at first I thought it was broken and there was no color coming out, so I put in another roll from those that came as a gift with the camera, and it worked properly. Of course, in other cameras they may work just fine, but in the specific one I mentioned, no. I tried both sides!
