Sweet and spicy at the same time.. at €28 it's value for money, but personally I would pay a few euros more for the Diplomatico, which I consider to be much superior in taste.

Good for the money, but I wasn't blown away either. It resembles bourbon (e.g., Woodford Reserve) more than rum. It's not as sweet as one would expect from a rum in this category. However, it's not Havana Club or Captain Morgan either. It's of higher quality, but that's about it. My personal favorite in this price range is Don Papa Baroko.

I fell for the good reviews. I didn't like this rum at all. It smells like alcohol as soon as you open the bottle! It burns so much that you can hardly taste anything... Only the packaging and the bottle are nice. Fortunately, along with this, I got a Chairman's Reserve Spiced, which is a wonderful rum!

It costs much more than 30€. It deceives you on the nose, reminiscent of cognac or even bourbon. Taste-wise, it gives off hints of butter, caramel, and cherry. With 38% alcohol content, it is not at all indifferent. It has intensity without being sweet. It is pleasant to drink neat. An excellent choice.

The best thing I have ever tasted for 28 euros. Although I am not a rum connoisseur, I prefer it to Diplomatico. It also has wonderful packaging

I like rum. I prefer the Spanish style which is more intense and spicy in flavor than that found in the French colonies. This is for me the best VFM on the market! Start your search for superior flavors from here. Stay here - relaxed and nice - if your wallet can't keep up with the desire. Anyway, we are talking about a flavor 15-20€ cheaper than its counterparts. The rum for the connoisseurs.

What is certain is that it sets the bar high for future tests...
Its price in relation to what it offers in terms of aroma, taste, and packaging is extremely good value for money...
Intense aromas of dried cherry, vanilla, dried fruits, and a coffee-like finish come out...
I can't distinguish the rest individually due to lack of experience, but what is certain is that it is quite complex...
Attention, it has nothing to do with what some inexperienced people like me think rum is, after trying the most commercial labels...

Initially, the packaging is quite premium, which prepares you for something good despite its price, and of course, it rewards you! Perfect buttery aroma and smooth, beautiful taste. The aftertaste is just right.
It reminds me a lot of bourbon, and I believe whiskey lovers will adore it.

Very value for money aged rum. It is easily drinkable on its own but it is ideal for quality cocktails and it has a very nice flavor.

A decent sipping rum that sits above the category of 7-year-olds. Also, very beautiful packaging and bottle. To bring out its character, let it breathe a little on the ice. Definitely worth a try. It has a place in every collection.
