This book is a spiritual experiential exploration concerning fundamental questions that occupy humanity, primarily whether there exists a purpose for it. If the reader accepts the existence of a purpose, then they will introduce into their reflection the concept and possible existence of the soul.
Such fundamental philosophical questions current science fails to comprehend. It is as inaccurate as it is superficial to attempt to approach them with strict scientific terms. After all, if a soul exists, then any understanding of it does not necessarily have to occur strictly based on experimental science.
Perhaps other pathways of approach are required, emphasizing experience and empathy. To this end, 20 articles are presented that occasionally use data from Biology, Physics, and Psychology. However, to emphasize the experiential approach, 20 poems are included among the articles.
If curiosity is the driving force that has propelled humanity to its marvelous scientific discoveries, imagination serves as the other cornerstone of the "establishment of man." Through art – in this book, through poetry – man escapes the limitations of his five senses, occasionally attempting a seemingly "leap into the absurd," and can then discover the wholeness of nature and perhaps sense his possible purpose.
