Intended Use, Application

The synthetic plaster bandage (size 2.5 cm x 1.8 m, color: white) is individually packaged and consists of fiberglass fabric that is impregnated with polyurethane resin. After its reaction with water, the resin hardens quickly.

The finished bandage is characterized by high stability and low weight. It is semi-transparent with X-rays. NOBALITE® provides rigid external immobilization for fractures, cracks, inflammations of the limbs, injuries, and surgeries on ligaments, as well as further orthopedic indications. It is suitable for use as a splint bandage, orthotic bandage, or as a circular plaster.

Composition:

• Fibreglass
• polyurethane resin

Contraindications:

• Where there is a risk of hematoma, edema, or increased swelling.
• NOBALITE® cannot be used as a circular bandage in the initial treatment of fractures.
• Once the bandage is stabilized, it must be completely separated.
