Bleck, the Blond Giant of comics, was created by the EsseGesse team in 1954 for Dardo Publishing. It quickly evolved into one of the most beloved heroes in neighboring Italy and also in our country, where it made its first appearance in 1969 by Stelios Anemodouras, with hundreds of thousands of sales. A magazine that managed to escape the censorship of the Junta due to its American protagonist, while its script speaks about the struggle for freedom, with strong elements of resistance and anti-colonialism.

As Gabriele Ferrero mentions in his introduction to the edition: "Seventy years of publishing life in the world of comics is a remarkable achievement, accomplished by only a few series. In October 2024, Bleck will also join this exclusive club of heroes who are capable not only of smashing their enemies but also of emerging unscathed from the various trends that dominated comics in the years following their birth.
