The Hoya ProND EX 64 is an ND filter that reduces the amount of light passing through the lens by 6 stops. ACCU-ND technology reduces light equally across the visible and infrared spectrums to prevent color shifts.
For outdoor video, it allows you to set the shutter speed according to the frame rate while maintaining the desired depth of field, as well as create motion blur in moving subjects. For photography, it allows for longer exposures or a shallow depth of field in bright sunlight. It is threaded on both sides, allowing you to stack additional ND filters or attach a threaded lens cap or another filter.
