Atrauman® Wound Dressing with Ointment

Dressings with ointment without active substances, made from hydrophobic polyester gauze with a dense weave and a smooth surface structure. Impregnated with a neutral ointment containing plant fatty acids, they actively contribute to lipid metabolism, accelerating the healing process. No added petrolatum or other paraffins.

Permeable to secretions, particularly soft with excellent folding abilities. They do not adhere to the wound.

The ointment contains a mixture of esters from natural, plant fatty acids that are bound as diglycerides and triglycerides.

Indications for use:

• General wound treatment, especially for maintaining elasticity of the wound surface and edges.
• Suitable for extensive abrasions or cuts as well as burns or scalds.
• Used in plastic and aesthetic surgery, nail extractions, circumcision operations, and others.
• Coverage of donor and recipient areas in skin transplants.
• Retention of partial thickness skin grafts.
• Suitable for patients with sensitive skin or with sensitivity to medications.
