Of course, there are no issues with iOS and you have full control over which notifications you receive on the watch and which you don't.
Update2: After one month, the color came off the metal part of the strap. It doesn't affect its function but it affects my mood... Combined with the other restrictions of Huawei and the bans imposed by the European Union, I would characterize this purchase as a failure.
I relied on good reviews—which, notably, NOT ONE mentioned the restrictions that exist on iOS.
For me, Huawei is off the list as a future option.
Update: On iOS, you can no longer install free watch-faces as of August '25.
Coming from a Garmin Fenix 8: The Huawei, to my great surprise, has high quality even in the packaging. It is lighter and doesn't bother you even while sleeping, unlike the Garmin. Its menu is also more user-friendly (I won't go into other comparisons, different categories).
Negative for iPhone users: You can't stop all types of calls (even viber/whatsapp/telegram) from ringing on the watch even if you completely disable notifications. It's inconceivable, extremely annoying, and almost a privacy breach. I can't understand what the hell they were thinking. I hope they fix it in a firmware update because it is UNACCEPTABLE.
Also, when you turn on the speaker on the iPhone, the watch is selected since Huawei has obviously made it appear as an audio accessory...
Update3: Αγόρασα ένα Amazfit που κάνει το οικοσύστημα της Huawei να μοιάζει αστείο. Εγκατάσταση εφαρμογών και modules στο ρολόι και στην εφαρμογή του κινητού.
Καταγραφή φαγητών θερμίδων με ΑΙ.
Εννοείται δεν υπάρχει κανένα θέμα με το iOS και ελέγχεις πλήρως τι ειδοποιήσεις λαμβάνεις στο ρολόι και ποιες όχι.
Update2: Μετά από έναν μήνα έφυγε το χρώμα στο μεταλλικό τμήμα του λουρακίου. Δεν επηρεάζει την λειτουργία του αλλά επηρεάζει την ψυχολογία μου... Σε συνδυασμό με τους υπόλοιπους περιορισμούς της Huawei και απαγορεύσεις που υφίσταται στην Ευρωπαϊκή ένωση, θα χαρακτήριζα την αγορά μου αυτή ως αποτυχία.
Βασίστηκα στις καλές κριτικές -που σημειωτέον ΟΥΤΕ ΜΙΑ δεν ανέφερε τους περιορισμούς που υπάρχουν σε iOS.
Για μένα η Huawei έχει διαγραφεί ως μελλοντική επιλογή.
Update: Σε iOS δεν μπορείς να περάσεις δωρεάν watch-faces πλέον από Αύγουστο '25.
Ερχόμενος από Garmin Fenix 8: Το Huawei προς μεγάλη μου έκπληξη έχει υψηλή ποιότητα ακόμα και στην συσκευασία. Είναι πιο ελαφρύ και δεν ενοχλεί ούτε στον ύπνο σε αντίθεση με το Garmin. Το μενού του πιο εύχρηστο επίσης (δεν θα μπω σε άλλες συγκρίσεις, διαφορετικές κατηγορίες).
Αρνητικό για χρήστες iPhone: Δεν μπορείς να το κάνεις να μη χτυπάνε οι κλήσεις παντός είδους (ακόμα και viber/whatsapp/telegram) στο ρολόι ακόμα κι αν απενεργοποιήσεις τις ειδοποιήσεις τελείως. Είναι αδιανόητο, ενοχλητικότατο και σχεδόν privacy breach. Δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω τι δι@λο σκέφτονταν. Ελπίζω σε κάποιο firmware update να το φτιάξουν γιατί είναι ΑΠΑΡΑΔΕΚΤΟ.
Επίσης όταν ανοίγεις το μεγάφωνο στο iPhone επιλέγεται το ρολόι μιας και η Huawei το έχει κάνει να εμφανίζεται ως αξεσουάρ ήχου προφανώς...
