Description

In 1963, a legend was born with the reconstruction of the unique, abandoned distillery on the remote Isle of Jura located on the west coast of Scotland, just 60 miles from Glasgow. The whisky marks the rebirth of the Jura distillery. The Celtic symbol on the front of the bottle signifies birth and the forces of nature. Aged for at least 10 years in bourbon barrels, acquiring a vanilla flavor. Smooth and elegant with a warm honey finish. Aromas of cereals, caramel flowers, and subtle notes of peat.

I would never buy it again, not even if you paid me.
I struggled to drink half a bottle, hoping each time I poured a glass I would be able to decipher its taste in vain, a mishmash of indistinct flavors...
It's like listening to death metal and clarinets at the same time.
Luckily, a friend came over and drank the rest of the bottle, and I finally found peace.
I tried to like it, but I finally freed myself from the struggle of convincing myself that it's good.

It reminds me of the sound which is also my favorite, but it burns quite a lot in the throat. I would not buy it again unlike the sound!

Excellent value for money. Very good taste, quite sweet, reminiscent of cognac without forgetting that it is whiskey. Overall easy to drink, it entices you to keep drinking as the taste and aroma fill you up as you drink. It doesn't receive the 5th star because the aftertaste is very limited, but for those who enjoy taste adventures in alcohol, they should at least try it once in their cellar.

Maybe the most honest in relation to its price single malt. That is, if you have 30€ for whiskey, you get the Jura and you have gotten the best at this price.

I tried it at a whisky bar in Athens and immediately ordered it. Very high-quality whisky that is worth its price down to the last cent. I highly recommend it for fans of the genre. It is imperative to try it neat (no ice)!
