An approach from the perspective of the interests of the working class regarding specific technological and scientific developments. The publication includes the materials from the Workshop organized by the Central Council of KNE dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Lenin's death. It featured Marxist scientists, academics, and officials from the KKE and KNE.

It sheds light on the fundamental contradiction of our time, between capital and labor, which explains why development based on capitalist profit delays scientific progress and limits social prosperity. It captures the new possibilities and characteristics of socialist society, the obstacles it will overcome compared to the socialist construction of the previous century, as well as the need for the new era in technology to be accompanied by a new era in society, Socialism.
