Thin-wall heat-shrink tubing is used for insulating wire connections, in conductor repair to protect the cable head from corrosion, to protect cable insulation from water and moisture, as well as to restore the integrity of cable insulation. It is a thin-wall plastic tube that shrinks to a certain degree at temperatures above 120°C. The material is resistant to high temperatures and UV rays.
