Thin-walled heat-shrink tubing is used for insulating wire connections, restoring conductors to protect the cable end from corrosion, and for protecting cable insulation from water and moisture. It restores the integrity of cable insulation. It is a thin-walled plastic tube that shrinks in diameter to some extent at temperatures above 120°C. The material is resistant to high temperatures and UV radiation.
