The Primasem yellow crocus bulb blooms in spring and is planted in autumn. It can be grown in a sunny or partially shaded spot in well-drained soil.
Plant it with the pointed end facing upwards, 5 cm deep and 5–8 cm apart from other bulbs. Fertiliser is not needed at planting, although a little organic compost can help. The bulb produces offsets, so it can be divided after flowering, once the foliage has turned yellow and dried completely. Allow the leaves to die back naturally so the bulb can store energy for the following year.
