The Primasem crocus bulb blooms in spring and is planted in autumn. It grows in sunny or partially shaded locations in well-drained soil and can be planted beneath deciduous trees.

Plant with the pointed end facing upwards, 5 cm deep and 5–8 cm apart from other bulbs. After flowering, allow the foliage to yellow and die back naturally before removing it, so the bulb can store energy for the following year.
