Description

Description

The Jackson JS11 Dinky electric guitar is primarily aimed at beginner guitarists looking for an affordable option for their first steps in learning the electric guitar. The JS11 is ideal for musical styles such as rock and metal.

It is also suitable for those who want to play fast riffs and solos as it features a thin neck and flat fingerboard that facilitates techniques such as shredding.

Neck construction from Maple wood

The Maple wood used in the neck is an important element for the guitar's acoustics, as it produces a bright and precise tone resulting from the wood's hardness.

Body construction from Poplar wood

The Poplar wood used in the guitar's body offers a balanced sound with an emphasis on the mid and low frequencies, performing well even in more intense playing.

HH Pickup Configuration (Humbucker-Humbucker)

This setup includes two ceramic humbucker pickups, which are mounted in the neck and bridge positions of the guitar.

The humbucker pickups offer better low-frequency response and bass sound, as well as greater resistance to noise. This makes the guitar suitable for powerful riffs and solos.

Equipped with passive pickups, which do not require external power to operate. Specifically, passive pickups work using magnetism and produce a signal that is inversely proportional to the movement of the strings.

Body Shape Dinky

The Dinky body shape is one of the most popular shapes in Jackson's electric guitars. This shape has a slightly shorter scale compared to other guitars from the company and features a narrow, sleek, and lightweight design, making it very versatile for guitarists.

The Dinky shape is combined with a double cutaway body design, which makes it easier to access the higher frets of the guitar. It is also known for its sound, which is intense, powerful, and stands out in rock and metal tones.

First of all, let's say that EVERY GUITAR IS DIFFERENT, meaning that you can have 2 exactly identical guitars side by side and one can have significant differences in sound, build quality, how comfortable the neck feels, and overall the entire sensation that the instrument gives you, so it’s good to try out whatever you get up close and not buy blindly. The specific one I got is Amazing for its price, at 166 euros it outperforms everything around it by far! Nice classic heavy metal Jackson sound and a very comfortable fretboard for fast playing and of course, it's beautiful! The pickups are the same as those in more expensive Jackson models, just know that up to about 700 euros ALL Jackson guitars have these pickups that this one has, which is the cheapest and they are truly incredible for stock pickups. Also, the new version with the black hardware has better tuners and holds the tuning very well! If you want something for rock/metal but not only, this is the most quality and value for money guitar in its category!

The price is good but after only 2 months, the keys had an issue, they easily get out of tune and the magnets move. The tremolo, no matter how much you press it, the guitar still gets out of tune. So, spend a little more money and get something better

The guitar is very excellent for its price. It has impressed me and you can play anything from rock to metal, and more. The only insignificant thing is that some frets buzz a little, but that can be fixed. The rest is simply incredible

I bought it based on reviews, but I am not satisfied. The frets buzz quite a bit and some buzz so much that the note is almost inaudible. However, I have no complaints about the sound and pickup performance.
