According to recent studies, 80% of Europeans use the Internet daily, and 30% report being almost constantly online. The percentages rise among younger age groups, particularly teenagers, who spend on average more than 8 hours a day in front of a screen, not including school activities!

Furthermore, while the percentage of addicted adults is just over 5%, among teenagers, 60% show "signs of addiction" to mobile phones, while 45% are addicted to their phones and cannot go without them.
