    I bought 2 of these smart watches after reading the reviews. After trying to set them up (removing the PIN from the SIM card and turning on WiFi calling, etc.) I still couldn’t get the watches to work. I contacted the seller to ask if there were other settings that needed changing and I was told that these versions only work in Vietnam, Russia, Turkey, Croatia and Taiwan! I was not given this information when I bought them as I assumed they would work in Greece. Now it’s too late to return them and I have wasted my money. The watches are very nice, just wished they worked in Greece.

    It takes a sim card. It has a management app that the parent downloads from the Play Store on their phone.
    The watch does NOT accept and does NOT make calls except to the one who has the watch's management app installed on their smartphone and indeed with a QR code.
    Beyond traditional phone calls, from the app on the phone, the parent can see the exact location of the child, how many steps they have taken, and can send them a text or voice message, and the child can respond in the same way. This method of communication requires the activation of a data package on the sim card that is in the watch. There is an option for the child to make a quick call by holding down the side button.
    Battery. It is reasonable to need charging every other day because essentially you have a phone with GPS and internet connection with a tiny battery.
    I highly recommend it.
