The journey to 100 friends begins with a single word. The socially anxious high school student, Shoko Komi, has the biggest dream of making friends, but everyone at school confuses her terrifying anxiety with a cold personality. Fortunately, she meets Tadano, a shy person who decides to step out of his comfort zone to help her achieve her goal of making 100 friends. Kawai is not used to defeat, but by the end of the study camp, it is clear that Komi has beaten her in a matter that truly matters—Tadano's feelings!
