The Hoya PROND EX 8 filter is a neutral density filter for camera lenses, featuring ACCU-ND technology for an equal reduction of light across the visible and infrared spectra. It helps control exposure and adjust shutter speed, while in video recording it helps set the shutter speed according to the frame rate while maintaining depth of field. The reduced light also allows you to use a slower shutter speed or a wider aperture in bright sunlight.
It is made of clear optical glass and mounted in a lightweight, precision-engineered aluminum frame. The frame has front threads for attaching an additional filter or lens cap.
