Special tape for electric fencing against snails. Length: 20 m.

The tape contains two metal strips 5 mm wide on one side, the other side is coated with an adhesive layer, which is covered with a protective tape. The protective tape must be removed before sticking.

The adhesive layer adheres sufficiently only to clean, glossy surfaces. It is recommended to pre-treat wooden surfaces with a lacquer coating, which also protects the wood. Oil-based treatment of wooden surfaces is not suitable, as the adhesive does not stick to the surface at all.

Before installation, make sure to design the position of the tape, and perhaps mark the points where the tape will run. Also before application, dust the surface and then degrease with technical or isopropyl alcohol.

Caution: if the adhesive surface comes into contact with a dusty, muddy, or greasy surface, it will forever lose its stickiness and the damaged part will become useless.

Mechanical fastening of the tape (sewing, screwing) is not a good option, since a) it may cause a short circuit, b) the perforated tape tears easily.

The tape can be extended using a special connector (you will find 2 sets of connectors in the package).
