Mercaton Cajeput essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the plant’s wood and consists of 100% essential oil. It is used in personal care products for the skin and scalp, aromatic blends, perfumes, and inhalers.

For room fragrance, add 10 drops to an oil burner or vaporizer. For cosmetic use, add 15–20 drops to 50 ml of carrier oil, cream, unscented shampoo, or shower gel. The maximum permitted concentration for application to the skin is 0.8%. Before use, a patch test on the inside of the elbow is recommended; wait 48 hours. Do not use on sensitive, irritated, or damaged skin, or on children under 3 years of age. Keep out of reach of children.
