Ναι, ταιριάζει απόλυτα. Το κούμπωμά του είναι συμβατό με τις κλασικές μπαταρίες Makita 18V (τύπου LXT). Μάλιστα, με τη μπαταρία της Makita δουλεύει ακόμα καλύτερα και πιο σταθερά από τη δική του (τουλάχιστον σε αυτό που ήρθε σε εμένα)
