The GMT Games board game Banish All Their Fears: Bayonet & Musket Battles, Volume 1 is a strategy game for 2 players that recreates the battles of Neerwinden in 1693 and Blenheim in 1704. The game develops the Musket & Pike series system, with an emphasis on using larger armies, maneuvering brigades, and the superiority of firepower.
Brigades are the basic maneuver elements on the battlefield, while infantry battalions and cavalry regiments are the game units. Combat for most units is resolved with 1–2 dice rolls, while reserves can reinforce exhausted front-line battalions. The maps and orders of battle are based on historical research.
