Pharmaplast Ultra eXsorb is a non-woven dressing coated with breathable, waterproof, virus-resistant, and sealing polyurethane layers, offering protection from bacteria and featuring a central absorbent pad.

Made from a mixture of superabsorbent acrylic fibers and viscose fibers, it is thermally laminated onto a transparent PE mesh. The dressing absorbs wound exudates, forming a soft, hydrophilic, breathable gel layer that facilitates healing.

The dressing change frequency depends on the wound condition:

• In wounds with necrotic tissue or heavy exudation, the dressing should be changed daily.
• For wounds with lower exudates, it can remain in place for a longer period.

Precautions:

• Wounds showing signs of infection should be dressed, with daily bandage changes and evaluation for antibiotic therapy use.
• Avoid use in case of sensitivity to Pharmaplast Ultra eXsorb or any of its components.

Instructions for Use:

• Select a dressing size approximately 2 cm larger than the wound area.
• Open the package and place the dressing on the wound using an aseptic technique.
• For slightly exuding wounds, apply the dressing and gently moisten the area with sterile water or saline solution.
• Can be applied without a secondary fixation dressing.

If the dressing adheres slightly to the wound, saline solution helps to remove it without pain or trauma.
