The Modular Individual Med Kit® combines a special case and the Universal Med Insert®. Together, they allow for the arrangement of the basic first aid kit in a deliberate, optimal layout – from gloves to gauzes, bandages, disinfectants, and trauma scissors.

The case can be accessed via a double-direction zipper. Inside, there is a velcro panel for the Med Insert, two elastic strap loops, two Paracord loops, and a mesh pocket with an elastic drawstring. The pouch is available in several colors, features a velcro panel with an embroidered reflective cross, a detachable hip belt, and at the bottom, three straps and an elastic drawstring. It is compatible with MOLLE/PALS.

The insert opens from the sides, providing immediate access to the contents separated at the discretion of the users. The sections of the insert can easily be closed with velcro and opened using deliberately placed opening loops. When opened, the rescuer has access to the entire medical treatment kit without the need for additional openings or movement of components. The insert is red, which along with the reflective elements on the flap aids in the quick finding of the Insert – vital in low light or turbulence.
