    It has a stiff focus ring and during focus pull at the beginning (rarely) it loses the field, meaning when someone changes the focus from far to near, the focus suddenly goes far again. Overall, an excellent lens and the 1.8 is worth every penny. If someone has the money, it's better to get the G Master 28-70 f2
