The Milwaukee M18 FB6 tool battery uses REDLITHIUM™ FORGE™ technology and delivers HIGH OUTPUT™ 12.0 Ah power in a smaller, lighter package. It offers a longer service life and more recharge cycles, while REDLINK™ technology optimizes performance and protects against overload through communication between the tool, battery and charger.

The durable housing provides enhanced protection against common oils, solvents and greases, as well as jobsite and environmental conditions. The integrated charge indicator is easy to read, even in direct sunlight. When used with the M18™ dual-bay super charger, the battery charges to 80% in 15 minutes.

    I bought it for a Milwaukee FHP or 2915 for those who know the tool I'm referring to, at first we were using simple 5Ah batteries which would heat up and run out very quickly, with this 12Ah the tool has changed, you can tell by the sound and the duration of use, it's obviously not comparable, it's an expensive battery but if you work with more demanding machines it will be very useful.

    It is on the edge of weight/performance. It doesn't tire you out because it is relatively light and lasts quite a while. However, one is definitely not enough. I have 4 m18 and 3 m12 with two chargers so I never run out. Maybe later I'll get an 8ah for the impact wrench because it's the only one that doesn't last long. The others (grinder, drill, impact wrench) are excellent
