It misses many events at a distance of over 4 meters in the summer. Otherwise, it is very good. Battery life, image quality, and the app are excellent.

Very good cameras, they do their job well.
On a 6m x 3m balcony mounted at a height of 3m, it covers the whole area, it is quite sensitive and has separate motion detection and human detection; for human detection it does just fine.
Connected with the TAPO Hub and a memory card for recordings on the hub, they work flawlessly. The battery lasts very well and charges easily even in winter. On one of the 2 I have, I set sensitivity and notification zones and saw that energy consumption increased sharply without having better coverage or notifications, so on the default settings, it does a fine job.

Very economical, I would say fragile, but for indoor use, with a little care so it doesn't fall from any shelf, it can easily last for years. For its price, it is truly a great convenience!

Good quality, good picture. The only sensitive point that did not satisfy me is the detection of people and cars; although I set all the settings to the most sensitive, it still missed people and cars. It has an anti-theft system. The solar panel covers it very well. It is for mounting on the base where the panel is, or if you want to place it separately, you have to put it on a wall, or if it is on the ceiling it has to be very high because it does not take a large angle; the base will have a big tilt. Otherwise, you need to improvise with some metal bracket to support it on the ceiling. You can use it; it has screw mounting and on the side you can also put the base there. It does not have a magnetic base as stated in the specifications; it is only screw-mounted

It was installed on the second floor of an apartment building to record movement in the yard, but sometimes it records and other times it doesn't... the sensitivity is at maximum and still nothing.

I'm coming back to add... the camera is activated by infrared, which I hadn't set to full beam, I corrected it and now it's working better. Of course, when it's windy, I get a lot of false alarms from moving trees and even from the shadow of the neighbor's laundry. The AI still needs work to distinguish some things.
The solar panel performs well; my battery has not dropped below 99%.

Installed in winter in a spot with plenty of light but under shade, in a store. I never saw the battery drop below 90%. 15m distance from the router with a concrete wall in between, perfect signal. With a 128gb sd card, >10 days of recording. It does not have the option for continuous recording to save battery. Only records when there is movement. Human, animal, vehicle recognition, local alarm, notifications on the phone, 2 LEDs, overall a very very good choice and image.

I bought it from a well-known chain and after two months it froze, it wouldn't reset or turn off with the power button, it was just stuck and the LED was blinking red. After a lot of hassle, they replaced it for me without a service check. I get a new one, install it, and it did the same thing again. I don't know what's wrong, maybe I'm doing something wrong but I don't think so... I will return it again. In my opinion, stay away from this particular one.

Very good camera with satisfactory resolution (for its price).
Easy installation on wi-fi. If installed on a wall and facing sideways, the mounting base should be replaced with a longer one (about 15 cm) so that it extends far enough out from the wall. I bought a hi vision one and it fits (the camera has a universal thread).
The tp link app is decent and simple to use.
The panel saves the day with charging and it takes 2-3 hours to charge 50%. It also charges without direct sunlight.

It struggles with face recognition, motion detection, etc., and the function of the frame that defines the control area is as if it doesn't exist. Apparently, it only works at a very low placement, at most 3m, according to the manual, so it is essentially useless in most cases. It appears to be well-built, the app is good, and it has low battery consumption. The panel now in the summer, with direct sunlight from sunrise until 12 noon, is more than enough to charge the battery to 100%.

I have bought 2 pieces. One works perfectly, the second one disconnects every day and after much effort and trouble it comes back. I have restarted it countless times!!!

The product's failure is its battery: It did not withstand the mild winter we had and died, so the camera is useless.
Sorry, after closer inspection I verified myself that the battery is fine but it no longer charges with the solar panel. The cables all seem fine and there is no sign of rain ingress. Probably the panel or its internal contacts have suffered some damage. There is no way to open it as far as I understand.
The people at SKROUTZ also checked it, after I returned it, and said they did not repair it. They did not specify what the damage was nor did I receive any relevant information. They simply did not repair it and refunded me. At least that's something!

Veeery good and easy-to-use camera, standalone without power, and you can place it wherever you want as long as it catches your wifi or the best in its category

It's a bit difficult to integrate it into the network, but it has excellent battery life and charges even on cloudy days! Quite good photo resolution, average video resolution (even when changing its resolution). It's important that you can schedule when it will record (set time windows per day). A downside is that you can't do continuous recording (it only records when it "detects" motion for the duration you've set, with a specific upper limit).

Everything is good, like all the devices and the Tapo smart network. However, prefer the dome camera…same price and more practical.

Fantastic. The wide angle helps a lot. The battery is also very good. I have it at the front door (so the family goes in and out) and I estimate that the duration on a single battery charge will be at least 4-5 months. I didn't use the panel. Clearly better than the C420, however the C420 has a removable battery which helps (there's no need to take the camera out for charging).

If you connect the solar panel to have enough sunlight during the day, it will work without issues. The quality is good, but I would like better quality at night. The floodlights it has help quite a bit. Among the tapo, I prefer the c325wb for flawless night shooting

Value for money. The Tapo app (for controlling/managing the camera via mobile phone) is functional, convenient, and well-designed.

Unfortunately, it has free cloud only for 30 days, after that you have to pay. Fortunately, I only want it for recording on micro SD, so I don't really care much. Anyone who wants free cloud should get Foscam or some other. Other than that, it's good, although it had difficulty connecting...

I received it very quickly, I haven't set it up in its final position yet, but I examined it and programmed it. The program is very easy, the application they have for the mobile guides you very well, or you can go to the TP-LINK website and find or download whatever you want. From what I've seen so far, the clarity is very good, but I will focus more on the programming. For now, it has exactly what I expected to find and I couldn't find in other cameras of the same type, in terms of detection. It has everything except for something very good, which means you can adjust it according to your needs. I will come back again when I install it in its final position to share my experiences. As a first experience, I really liked it a lot.
