ISOMIX FERRO PRIMER is a ready-made cement mortar that protects reinforcement from corrosion and acts as a bonding layer between old and new concrete.

APPLICATIONS:

• Protection of exposed steel reinforcement from corrosion in reinforced concrete that has been damaged due to earthquake, carbonation, frost, or poor application.
• Protection of steel reinforcement from corrosion in structural elements of small thickness or in cases where the structural element is expected to operate in humid conditions.
• Application as a bonding bridge between old and new concrete in repair works.

Color: terracotta.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

• The reinforcement should be structurally stable, clean from dust, oil, etc.
• The concrete should be free from loose materials.
• ISOMIX FERRO PRIMER is gradually added to water and mixed until a homogeneous mass without lumps is created. Water requirement: 30%-40%.
• Application to reinforcement: Apply with a medium-hard brush two layers with a thickness of up to 1 mm each. The second layer is applied once the previous one has dried.
• Application as a bonding layer: Apply with a brush one layer with a thickness of up to 2 mm. The application of new concrete or mortar is done while the layer is still fresh.

CLEANING: Clean the tools with water immediately after use.
