very sensitive controller, you can't easily control it. it flips over on a straight path, you put it back in a straight line, the wheel from the joints on the tiles changes direction and turns by itself. the automatic function bumps everywhere and gets tangled in obstacles. generally works as mentioned but I don't think a cat can engage with it if it flips over and stops every 3 seconds and after 5 minutes you won't want to deal with it either

When it is in automatic mode, it uses an obstacle sensor (!) so most of the time it doesn't bump into walls and things. It is much faster than I expected and when you operate it with the remote control it is even faster. To the point where it does wheelies with the slightest movement. If the cat is in the mood, you might have to charge it 3 times in the same day.
Of course, it also has the "smart" mode where the toy works on its own for 5 minutes and then stops, and if the cat touches it, it starts again for another 5 minutes, etc. I personally didn't like this, I would have preferred it to work for 1 minute so it wouldn't drain the battery all the time.
Something it lacks is a button on the remote to turn it on/off. You have to go find it and stop it if the noise starts to bother you.
UPDATE: After about 8 months the wheels broke and keep coming off on their own, so I can't use it anymore.
