  • Size

The diagonal is the number used to describe the size of the screen. The most popular sizes are 24 and 27 inch screens.

  • Response Time (GTG)

The time it takes for a pixel to change from one shade of gray to the next. A low response time provides faster response to our actions (input lag) and a cleaner image (less ghosting) which are important in gaming. Response times below 5ms are considered acceptable, but for gaming, monitors with 1ms are recommended.

  • Connection Type

    DisplayPort

Modern way of digital transfer of image, sound and data, compatible with HDMI and DVI cables through an adapter.

    HDMI

The type of connection used by popular gaming consoles such as Playstation 4/5, Xbox X/S, Nintendo Switch, etc. (Support for HDMI 2.1 is required for high fps and 4K resolutions.)

  • Refresh Rate

Refers to how many times the screen image is refreshed per second. Screens with a high refresh rate offer a competitive advantage as their image is clearer (less motion blur).

    2. Typically, for office applications and simple gaming, 60-75Hz is common. In recent years, screens with 120, 144, and even 240Hz have emerged, mainly aimed at competitive gaming.

  • Type

The technology used by the screen to display the image.

    VA

Screens with VA panels offer high refresh rates and contrast with vivid colors, as well as slightly shorter response times compared to TN. Suitable for movies and casual gaming.

The high UWQHD resolution (3440x1440) will let you experience mesmerizing visuals. Enjoy ultra-smooth, tear-free gameplay with the built-in Adaptive-Sync technology when paired with your GPU for exceptionally smooth gameplay.

Refresh rate 180 Hz, response time 1ms MPRT

Equipped with a 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time (MPRT), which has the advantage in fast-moving game genres such as first-person shooters, fighting games, racing simulations, real-time strategy, and sports. These types of games require quick and precise movements, which a monitor with a high refresh rate and fast response time will put you ahead of your competition.

Blue Light Reduction

Certified by TÜV Rheinland®, MSI monitors are optimized to produce a smaller amount of blue light emitted from the screen, allowing you to play for longer periods without straining your eyes.

AMD FreeSync Premium

AMD FreeSync Premium adds to the basic tier of FreeSync technology a fluid, tear-free gaming experience at maximum performance.

  • Low frame rate compensation
  • Low latency

True Color

The MSI Gaming Monitor has a wider color gamut coverage compared to general monitors. The colors and details of the game will appear more realistic and refined, pushing immersion to its limits.

It has some issues in terms of image quality and some ghosting in the colors, but within gaming with the right settings, it is not affected at all. The only issue you might find, and it's not the monitor's fault, is that some games may not support ultra wide like this one. Other than that, there isn't another as good for the price because the others start from 700 euros and above
