    Old specification when the mains voltage in Greece was 220V, now the voltage is at 230V. This specific power factor correction capacitor should be prohibited from sale because its specification is at 220V, so its endurance will not withstand the voltage fluctuations where in Greece it is 230V ± 10%, which means 207-253V. If the voltage is constantly 228-235V, which is usually the range of the mains voltage, this means that the voltage exceeds the nominal voltage endurance of the capacitor set by the manufacturer by 8-15V. This means a reduction in the lifespan of the capacitor, it may heat up more, and if it also has a manufacturing defect, it might even be destroyed in extreme cases, although with this small difference in voltage fluctuation it is unlikely, but the lifespan of the capacitor will definitely be reduced! In general, it is no longer recommended for use on a 230V network, even at 220V the endurance should be at least 250V in order to withstand the voltage fluctuations!
