I wanted something special, and a significant role in my purchase was played by stock Android. I was tired of so many years with devices full of useless pre-installed apps that couldn't be uninstalled.
I won't write about the cameras because, honestly, I haven't dealt with them at all all these years—I just take the photos I need and that's it.
However, I will write about the excellent sound quality you hear from its "speakers," and even if you are not an expert, it's impossible not to notice it.
I will also mention the excellent fingerprint scanner, which up to now as I write this review has not failed even once, unlike my previous device which sometimes drove me to my limits.
You learn to appreciate the better when you have tried the worst.
I will continue with the screen, and of course I won't praise how good and bright it is as most people would, but I will comment on Sony's excellent decision to reduce the ppi and ensure the device works excellently with the battery, giving very good operating times, something today's user needs.
Those of you who have dealt a bit more with technology, I imagine you understand that screens with high ppi are power-hungry and essentially useless on smartphones.
Now, let's go to the sound—here, Sony literally plays in a league of its own, not only because it continues to support the wired headphone output thanks to the 3.5 mm jack, but more so due to the electronic circuits it uses to deliver sound to the 3.5 mm jack.
I dare say that if you use a pair of quality headphones with equally high-quality music files, you will be pleasantly surprised by the audio result.
Of course, I can't leave unmentioned the Snapdragon series 8 processor, which since back in 2017 when I bought the OnePlus 5T made me realize what a good processor means (by the way, it still works excellently today with LineageOS 21).
Trouble-free and fast, I am sure it will give the device excellent longevity, as I don't usually change devices often.
In closing, I will mention a complaint regarding the LED for notifications, which unfortunately this device does not have.
I'm old school, and as I get older, my quirks grow too.
And a note that perhaps I should have written at the beginning of the review.
Everything I write about the device is directly connected to the price I bought it for (an excellent deal at half the original price Sony set).
I will disappoint you a bit towards the end though—the device in no way represents the original price of about 1400 euros that the company charges.

Ήθελα κάτι ξεχωριστό σημαντικό ρόλο στήν αγορά του έπαιξε τό stock Android είχα βαρεθεί τόσα χρόνια συσκευές μέ άχρηστες εφαρμογές προεγκατεστημένες χωρίς δυνατότητα απεγκατάστασης.
Δέν θά γράψω για τίς κάμερες γιατί πραγματικά δέν έχω ασχοληθεί καθόλου όλα τά χρόνια απλά φωτογραφίζω ότι χρειάζομαι και τέλος.
Θά γράψω όμως για τήν εξαιρετική ποιότητα ήχου πού ακούς από τά "ηχεία" του, καί άσχετος νά είσαι είναι αδύνατον νά μήν τό προσέξεις.
Επίσης θά αναφέρω και τόν εξαιρετικό ανιχνευτή δακτυλικού αποτυπώματος ο οποίος μέχρι τώρα πού γράφω αυτή την αξιολόγηση πραγματικά δέν έχει καμία αστοχία σέ αντίθεση μέ τήν προηγούμενη συσκευή μου που κάποιες φορές μέ έφερνε στά όρια μου.
Μαθαίνεις νά εκτιμάς τό καλύτερο όταν έχεις δοκιμάσει το χειρότερο.
Θά συνεχίσω μέ τήν οθόνη στήν οποία φυσικά δέν θά εκθειάσω τό πόσο καλή καί φωτεινή είναι όπως θά έκαναν οι περισσότεροι αλλά θά σχολιάσω τήν εξαιρετική επιλογή τής sony νά μειώσει τά ppi καί νά εξασφαλίσει στήν συσκευή μία εξαιρετική συνεργασία μέ τήν μπαταρία δίνοντας πολύ καλούς χρόνους λειτουργίας κάτι πού χρειάζεται ο σημερινός χρήστης.
Όσοι έχετε ασχοληθεί λίγο περισσότερο μέ τήν τεχνολογία φαντάζομαι ότι καταλαβαίνετε ότι οθόνες μέ υψηλά ppi είναι ενεργοβόρες καί ουσιαστικά άχρηστες στά smartphone.
Πάμε τώρα στόν ήχο εδώ λοιπόν ή sony κυριολεκτικά παίζει μπάλα μόνη της όχι μόνο επειδή συνεχίζει νά υποστηρίζει την ενσύρματη έξοδο ακουστικων χάρη στο βύσμα 3.5 mm αλλά περισσότερο στά ηλεκτρονικά κυκλώματα πού χρησιμοποιεί ώσπου νά φτάσει ο ήχος στο βύσμα 3.5 mm.
Θά τολμήσω νά πω ότι εάν χρησιμοποιήσετε ένα ζευγάρι ποιοτικά ακουστικά μέ ανάλογης ποιότητας μουσικά αρχεία θά εκπλαγείτε ευχάριστα από το ηχητικό αποτέλεσμα.
Φυσικά δεν μπορώ νά αφήσω ασχολίαστο τόν επεξεργαστή snapdragon σειρά 8 πού από τό μακρινό 2017 όταν αγόρασα τό oneplus 5T μέ έκανε νά αντιληφθώ τί σημαίνει καλός επεξεργαστής (παρεπιπτόντως μέχρι σήμερα λειτουργεί εξαιρετικά μέ lineageos 21)
Απροβλημάτιστος καί γρήγορος είμαι σίγουρος ότι θά δώσει εξαιρετική μακροβιότητα στήν συσκευη μιας καί δεν συνηθίζω νά αλλάζω τακτικά συσκευές.
Τελειώνοντας θά αναφέρω και ένα παράπονο που αφορά το led για τίς ειδοποιήσεις πού δυστυχώς σέ αυτή τήν συσκευή δεν υπάρχει.
Είμαι τής παλιάς σχολής καί όσο μεγαλώνω μεγαλώνουν καί οι παραξενιές μου.
Καί μία επισήμανση πού ίσως έπρεπε νά γράψω στήν αρχή της αξιολόγησης.
Ότι γράφω για τήν συσκευή είναι αμέσα συνδεδεμένο με τήν τιμή πού τό αγόρασα (εξαιρετική περίπτωση στά μισά χρήματα από τήν αρχική τιμή πού τό κοστολογεί ή sony)
Θά σάς στεναχωρήσω λίγο πρός τό τέλος όμως ή συσκευή σέ καμία περίπτωση δεν αντιπροσωπεύει τήν αρχική τιμή των 1400 ευρώ περίπου που τό κοστολογεί η εταιρεία.
Όποιος έχει τόσα χρήματα νά δώσει μέ τό χέρι στήν καρδιά σίγουρα πρέπει νά στραφεί σέ κάποιο άλλο προϊόν.

After 2 months of living with the Xperia 1 V, which I got rid of due to the problems it had (mainly excessive overheating).
I got the Xperia 1 VI, which has been incredibly convenient for me.
It doesn't heat up, has a larger screen, bright, with better proportions and with lower resolution, since high resolution on phones only drains the battery.
The camera is flawless, and it has very convenient pro modes.
A serious negative is the "slow" charging. 30W is way too little in 2024, especially for a phone that costs around 1,500 euros.
Μετά από 2 μήνες συμβίωσης με το Xperia 1 V, το οποίο ξεφορτώθηκα λόγω των προβλημάτων που είχε (κυρίως υπερβολική υπερθέρμανση).
Πήρα το Xperia 1 VI, το οποίο με βόλεψε απίστευτα.
Δεν ζεσταίνεται, έχει μεγαλύτερη οθόνη, φωτεινή, με καλύτερες αναλογίες και με μικρότερη ανάλυση, μιας και η μεγάλη ανάλυση στα κινητά μόνο μπαταρία τρώει.
Η κάμερα είναι άψογη, και έχει πολύ βολικά pro modes.
Σοβαρό αρνητικό, η "αργή" φόρτιση. 30W είναι πάρα πολύ λίγα το 2024 ειδικά σε κινητό που κοστίζει ~1.500 ευρώ.

Battery with normal use easily lasts me one and a half to two days with the screen at 120 Hz, there is an option to go lower for battery savings (this varies from user to user of course. For reference, I had the iPhone 14 Pro and needed charging in the afternoon). It has an option to charge up to 80 or 90% to extend battery health.
More compact in size than the S24 Ultra and Pro Max. And very lightweight.
Screen, no complaints. Excellent. And without the nonsense of the front camera being on the screen.
Incredible speakers for a mobile phone which are at the top and bottom of the screen. Okay, I don't listen to music because I have speakers at home, but if you watch a movie, the sound is amazing.
Fingerprint scanner very good and in a very good position on the side, very quick response. Since it has been reported in older models that it breaks relatively often, I set it to unlock with touch without needing to press the button.
Camera seems very good to me but I'm not an expert. Compared to my iPhone 14 Pro, they seem much better and closer to reality, with fewer distortions and clearly much less processing. They released a new simplified app. I preferred the old one. It shoots 4K 120FPS video.
It takes microSD and has a 3.5mm jack. Some technologies for audiophiles and for enhancing wireless sound and a good amplifier for wired sound. However, I can't confirm this either because I'm not that knowledgeable on the subject. To me, it sounds very good.
Negatives:
It doesn't have the Sony Bravia Core installed like previous phones did.
Stock Android is positive on one hand, but on the other hand, it's not very customizable.
Obviously, the cost.
Μπαταρία με νορμάλ χρήση άνετα μου βγάζει μιάμιση με δύο ημέρες με την οθόνη στα 120 hz, υπάρχει επιλογή να πάει σε λιγότερα για οικονομία μπαταρίας ( αυτό διαφέρει από χρήστη σε χρήστη βέβαια . Ενδεικτικά είχα το iphone 14 pro και ήθελα φόρτιση κατά το απόγευμα) . Εχει επιλογή να φορτίζει εως 80 ή 90% ώστε να παρατείνει την υγεία της μπαταρίας.
Πιο κόμπακτ σε μέγεθος από το s24 ultra και pro max . Και πολύ ελαφρύ.
Οθόνη κανενα παράπονο. Άριστη. Και χωρίς την βλακεία της μπροστινής κάμερας να είναι πάνω στην οθόνη.
Τρομερά ηχεία για κινητό τα οποία είναι στο πάνω και κάτω μέρος της οθόνης . Οκ μουσική δεν ακούω γιατί έχω ηχεία στο σπίτι , αλλά αν βάλεις να δεις καμιά ταινία ο ήχος είναι τρομερός .
Fingerprint scanner πολύ καλό και σε πολύ καλή θέση στο πλάι , πολύ γρήγορη απόκριση . Επειδή έχει αναφερθεί σε παλιότερα μοντέλα ότι χαλάει σχετικά συχνά , το έβαλα να ξεκλειδώνει με την αφή χωρίς να χρειάζεται να πατήσεις το κουμπί.
Κάμερα μου φαίνεται πολύ καλή αλλά δεν είμαι και ειδικός. Σε σχέση με το iphone 14pro μου φαίνονται πολύ καλύτερες και πιο κοντά στην πραγματικότητα , με λιγότερες παραμορφώσεις και σαφώς πολύ λιγότερη επεξεργασία. Έβγαλαν νέα απλουστευμένη εφαρμογή. Προτιμούσα την παλιά . Τραβάει Βίντεο 4Κ 120FPS.
Περνει microsd και έχει 3.5mm jack. Κάποιες τεχνολογίες για τους audiophiles και για την ενίσχυση του ασύρματου ήχου και καλό ενισχυτή για τον ενσύρματο ήχο . Ωστόσο ούτε αυτό μπορώ να το επιβεβαιώσω γιατί δεν είμαι τόσο σχετικός με το θέμα. Εμενα μου ακούγεται πολύ καλός.
Αρνητικά:
Δεν έχει εγκατεστημένο το sony bravia core όπως είχαν τα προηγούμενα κινητά .
Stock android από την μια θετικό , από την άλλη δεν ειναι πολύ τροποποιήσιμο.

It is an excellent flagship, and this time I do not find compromises due to the manufacturer. It will also suit mainstream users.
The camera is fantastic, and the optical zoom works properly. Up to 5x in nighttime conditions. It is the 3rd generation of the rolling optical zoom, because the 1st generation (Xperia 1 IV) I had never worked satisfactorily. The Macro mode activates on its own during focusing, and it works flawlessly. Finally, the camera app is one and fast. Natural colors with excellent auto focus. In recording 4K video, at least now with the high heat, it overheats in 3 minutes. I have no image from other flagships with this specific processor.
The screen is very bright, and the scrolling is amazing. The resolution is wrongly not QHD and I personally preferred the previous screen ratio in Xperia. I have ordered the Sony case, when they decide to import it, which does not cover much of the sides so I can hold the phone more comfortably.
The fingerprint scanner on the side is, for me, superior in usability to the screen scanner. However, if I learned anything from owning the Xperia 1 IV, it is that if the button/scanner gets scratched, you are done for. They continuously throw errors and some become completely useless. Its replacement is difficult.
At the price it is sold, which in itself is a serious disadvantage (it's worth shopping at launch if you want the latest and greatest Sony Bluetooth headphones), there should be an option for a 16GB model. Because I do heavy multitasking, I restart it every two days to prevent it from freezing.
The battery lasts a day and a half with heavy use.
The speakers play loud and clear, and they have indeed achieved decent performance in the minijack circuit as advertised (for a phone). I always believed that the minijack is useless if it causes distortion (it doesn't) or has obvious weaknesses. However, it gives very little bass.

Επιτέλους, η εφαρμογή της κάμερας είναι μία και γρήγορη. Φυσικά χρώματα με εξαιρετικό auto focus. Σε καταγραφή 4Κ βίντεο, τουλάστον τώρα με τις μεγάλες ζέστες, υπερθερμαίνεται στο 3λεπτο. Δεν έχω εικόνα από άλλα flagship με τον συγκεκριμένο επεξεργαστή.

Ο fingerprint scanner στο πλάι είναι για μένα ανώτερος σε χρηστικότητα από το σκάνερ οθόνης. Αν όμως έμαθα κάτι από την κατοχή του xperia 1 IV, είναι ότι αν γρατζουνιστεί το κουμπι/scanner την έβαψες. Βγάζουν συνέχεια errors και άλλοι αχρηστεύονται τελείως. Η αντικατάσταση του είναι δύσκολη.
Στην τιμή που πωλείται, που από μόνη της είναι σοβαρό μειονέκτημα (αξίζει να ψωνιζεις στο λανσάρισμα αν θες τα latest and greatest bluetooth headphones της sony) , θα έπρεπε να υπάρχει η επιλογή για 16GB μοντέλο. Επειδή κάνω βαρύ multitask, το κάνω restart ανά δυό μέρες για να μην μου κολλάει.
Η μπαταρία με σοβαρή χρήση κρατάει μιάμιση μέρα.
Τα ηχεία παίζουν δυνατά και καθαρά, και όντως έχουν πετύχει αξιοπρεπή απόδωση στο κύκλωμα του minijack όπως διαφημίστηκε (για κινητό). Πάντα πίστευα ότι το minijack είναι άχρηστο αν κάνει παραμόρφωση (δεν κάνει) ή έχει εμφανείς αδυναμίες. Πάντως δίνει ελάχιστα μπάσα.
Αυτά προς το παρόν, θα ενημερώσω μελλοντικά με περισσότερα υπέρ /κατά.

Πραγματικά χρώματα , λίγο στο ζουμ 170 χάνει αλλά νομίζω με μια αναβάθμιση θα το φτιάξει. Η προβολή από την εταιρία είναι λίγη μπροστά στο προϊόν που έχει φτιάξει.

Δέν θά γράψω για τίς κάμερες γιατί πραγματικά δέν έχω ασχοληθεί καθόλου όλα τά χρόνια απλά φωτογραφίζω ότι χρειάζομαι και τέλος.
Θά γράψω όμως για τήν εξαιρετική ποιότητα ήχου πού ακούς από τά "ηχεία" του, καί άσχετος νά είσαι είναι αδύνατον νά μήν τό προσέξεις.
Επίσης θά αναφέρω και τόν εξαιρετικό ανιχνευτή δακτυλικού αποτυπώματος ο οποίος μέχρι τώρα πού γράφω αυτή την αξιολόγηση πραγματικά δέν έχει καμία αστοχία σέ αντίθεση μέ τήν προηγούμενη συσκευή μου που κάποιες φορές μέ έφερνε στά όρια μου.
Μαθαίνεις νά εκτιμάς τό καλύτερο όταν έχεις δοκιμάσει το χειρότερο.
Θά συνεχίσω μέ τήν οθόνη στήν οποία φυσικά δέν θά εκθειάσω τό πόσο καλή καί φωτεινή είναι όπως θά έκαναν οι περισσότεροι αλλά θά σχολιάσω τήν εξαιρετική επιλογή τής sony νά μειώσει τά ppi καί νά εξασφαλίσει στήν συσκευή μία εξαιρετική συνεργασία μέ τήν μπαταρία δίνοντας πολύ καλούς χρόνους λειτουργίας κάτι πού χρειάζεται ο σημερινός χρήστης.
Όσοι έχετε ασχοληθεί λίγο περισσότερο μέ τήν τεχνολογία φαντάζομαι ότι καταλαβαίνετε ότι οθόνες μέ υψηλά ppi είναι ενεργοβόρες καί ουσιαστικά άχρηστες στά smartphone.
Πάμε τώρα στόν ήχο εδώ λοιπόν ή sony κυριολεκτικά παίζει μπάλα μόνη της όχι μόνο επειδή συνεχίζει νά υποστηρίζει την ενσύρματη έξοδο ακουστικων χάρη στο βύσμα 3.5 mm αλλά περισσότερο στά ηλεκτρονικά κυκλώματα πού χρησιμοποιεί ώσπου νά φτάσει ο ήχος στο βύσμα 3.5 mm.
Θά τολμήσω νά πω ότι εάν χρησιμοποιήσετε ένα ζευγάρι ποιοτικά ακουστικά μέ ανάλογης ποιότητας μουσικά αρχεία θά εκπλαγείτε ευχάριστα από το ηχητικό αποτέλεσμα.
Φυσικά δεν μπορώ νά αφήσω ασχολίαστο τόν επεξεργαστή snapdragon σειρά 8 πού από τό μακρινό 2017 όταν αγόρασα τό oneplus 5T μέ έκανε νά αντιληφθώ τί σημαίνει καλός επεξεργαστής (παρεπιπτόντως μέχρι σήμερα λειτουργεί εξαιρετικά μέ lineageos 21)
Απροβλημάτιστος καί γρήγορος είμαι σίγουρος ότι θά δώσει εξαιρετική μακροβιότητα στήν συσκευη μιας καί δεν συνηθίζω νά αλλάζω τακτικά συσκευές.
Τελειώνοντας θά αναφέρω και ένα παράπονο που αφορά το led για τίς ειδοποιήσεις πού δυστυχώς σέ αυτή τήν συσκευή δεν υπάρχει.
Είμαι τής παλιάς σχολής καί όσο μεγαλώνω μεγαλώνουν καί οι παραξενιές μου.
Καί μία επισήμανση πού ίσως έπρεπε νά γράψω στήν αρχή της αξιολόγησης.
Ότι γράφω για τήν συσκευή είναι αμέσα συνδεδεμένο με τήν τιμή πού τό αγόρασα (εξαιρετική περίπτωση στά μισά χρήματα από τήν αρχική τιμή πού τό κοστολογεί ή sony)
Θά σάς στεναχωρήσω λίγο πρός τό τέλος όμως ή συσκευή σέ καμία περίπτωση δεν αντιπροσωπεύει τήν αρχική τιμή των 1400 ευρώ περίπου που τό κοστολογεί η εταιρεία.
Όποιος έχει τόσα χρήματα νά δώσει μέ τό χέρι στήν καρδιά σίγουρα πρέπει νά στραφεί σέ κάποιο άλλο προϊόν.
Αγαπάμε τήν sony εδώ καί αρκετές δεκαετίες τίς αλήθειες όμως πρέπει νά τίς λέμε.

After 2 months of living with the Xperia 1 V, which I got rid of due to the problems it had (mainly excessive overheating).
I got the Xperia 1 VI, which has been incredibly convenient for me.
It doesn't heat up, has a larger screen, bright, with better proportions and with lower resolution, since high resolution on phones only drains the battery.
The camera is flawless, and it has very convenient pro modes.
A serious negative is the "slow" charging. 30W is way too little in 2024, especially for a phone that costs around 1,500 euros.
Μετά από 2 μήνες συμβίωσης με το Xperia 1 V, το οποίο ξεφορτώθηκα λόγω των προβλημάτων που είχε (κυρίως υπερβολική υπερθέρμανση).
Πήρα το Xperia 1 VI, το οποίο με βόλεψε απίστευτα.
Δεν ζεσταίνεται, έχει μεγαλύτερη οθόνη, φωτεινή, με καλύτερες αναλογίες και με μικρότερη ανάλυση, μιας και η μεγάλη ανάλυση στα κινητά μόνο μπαταρία τρώει.
Η κάμερα είναι άψογη, και έχει πολύ βολικά pro modes.
Σοβαρό αρνητικό, η "αργή" φόρτιση. 30W είναι πάρα πολύ λίγα το 2024 ειδικά σε κινητό που κοστίζει ~1.500 ευρώ.

Battery with normal use easily lasts me one and a half to two days with the screen at 120 Hz, there is an option to go lower for battery savings (this varies from user to user of course. For reference, I had the iPhone 14 Pro and needed charging in the afternoon). It has an option to charge up to 80 or 90% to extend battery health.
More compact in size than the S24 Ultra and Pro Max. And very lightweight.
Screen, no complaints. Excellent. And without the nonsense of the front camera being on the screen.
Incredible speakers for a mobile phone which are at the top and bottom of the screen. Okay, I don't listen to music because I have speakers at home, but if you watch a movie, the sound is amazing.
Fingerprint scanner very good and in a very good position on the side, very quick response. Since it has been reported in older models that it breaks relatively often, I set it to unlock with touch without needing to press the button.
Camera seems very good to me but I'm not an expert. Compared to my iPhone 14 Pro, they seem much better and closer to reality, with fewer distortions and clearly much less processing. They released a new simplified app. I preferred the old one. It shoots 4K 120FPS video.
It takes microSD and has a 3.5mm jack. Some technologies for audiophiles and for enhancing wireless sound and a good amplifier for wired sound. However, I can't confirm this either because I'm not that knowledgeable on the subject. To me, it sounds very good.
Negatives:
It doesn't have the Sony Bravia Core installed like previous phones did.
Stock Android is positive on one hand, but on the other hand, it's not very customizable.
Obviously, the cost.
Μπαταρία με νορμάλ χρήση άνετα μου βγάζει μιάμιση με δύο ημέρες με την οθόνη στα 120 hz, υπάρχει επιλογή να πάει σε λιγότερα για οικονομία μπαταρίας ( αυτό διαφέρει από χρήστη σε χρήστη βέβαια . Ενδεικτικά είχα το iphone 14 pro και ήθελα φόρτιση κατά το απόγευμα) . Εχει επιλογή να φορτίζει εως 80 ή 90% ώστε να παρατείνει την υγεία της μπαταρίας.
Πιο κόμπακτ σε μέγεθος από το s24 ultra και pro max . Και πολύ ελαφρύ.
Οθόνη κανενα παράπονο. Άριστη. Και χωρίς την βλακεία της μπροστινής κάμερας να είναι πάνω στην οθόνη.
Τρομερά ηχεία για κινητό τα οποία είναι στο πάνω και κάτω μέρος της οθόνης . Οκ μουσική δεν ακούω γιατί έχω ηχεία στο σπίτι , αλλά αν βάλεις να δεις καμιά ταινία ο ήχος είναι τρομερός .
Fingerprint scanner πολύ καλό και σε πολύ καλή θέση στο πλάι , πολύ γρήγορη απόκριση . Επειδή έχει αναφερθεί σε παλιότερα μοντέλα ότι χαλάει σχετικά συχνά , το έβαλα να ξεκλειδώνει με την αφή χωρίς να χρειάζεται να πατήσεις το κουμπί.
Κάμερα μου φαίνεται πολύ καλή αλλά δεν είμαι και ειδικός. Σε σχέση με το iphone 14pro μου φαίνονται πολύ καλύτερες και πιο κοντά στην πραγματικότητα , με λιγότερες παραμορφώσεις και σαφώς πολύ λιγότερη επεξεργασία. Έβγαλαν νέα απλουστευμένη εφαρμογή. Προτιμούσα την παλιά . Τραβάει Βίντεο 4Κ 120FPS.
Περνει microsd και έχει 3.5mm jack. Κάποιες τεχνολογίες για τους audiophiles και για την ενίσχυση του ασύρματου ήχου και καλό ενισχυτή για τον ενσύρματο ήχο . Ωστόσο ούτε αυτό μπορώ να το επιβεβαιώσω γιατί δεν είμαι τόσο σχετικός με το θέμα. Εμενα μου ακούγεται πολύ καλός.
Αρνητικά:
Δεν έχει εγκατεστημένο το sony bravia core όπως είχαν τα προηγούμενα κινητά .
Stock android από την μια θετικό , από την άλλη δεν ειναι πολύ τροποποιήσιμο.
Προφανώς το κόστος.

Συγνώμη ήθελα να ρωτήσω.. για ποιον λόγο να δώσεις τόσα λεφτά για Xperia? Και να μην πάρεις galaxy η apple?
Για το jack 3,5mm, τη micro sd, την οθόνη που συνήθως έχει να δώσει κάτι παραπάνω απο τον ανταγωνισμό και τέλος για την σχεδίαση της Sony. Προσωπικά μου αρέσουν πολύ σχεδιαστικά αλλά και στο ui όλα σχεδόν τα προϊόντα της και γι αυτό την προτιμώ. Είναι καθαρά υποκειμενικό το θέμα δηλαδή. Φυσικά υπάρχουν και σοβαρά μειονεκτήματα (όπως η μικρή χρονικά υποστήριξη σε updates) που θα πρέπει να δεχτείς.
Η μεγαλύτερη απορία μου εδώ καί χρόνια είναι γιατί δεν μπορείς νά βρεις συσκευές sony xperia σέ αρκετά καταστήματα κινητής τηλεφωνίας παρά μόνο σχεδόν αποκλειστικά στα sony center;
Εντάξει τήν αγαπάμε τήν sony εδώ καί πέντε δεκαετίες αλλά καί 1500 ευρώ.... Ήμαρτον

I dare say that if you use a pair of quality headphones with equally high-quality music files, you will be pleasantly surprised by the audio result.
Of course, I can't leave unmentioned the Snapdragon series 8 processor, which since back in 2017 when I bought the OnePlus 5T made me realize what a good processor means (by the way, it still works excellently today with LineageOS 21).

In closing, I will mention a complaint regarding the LED for notifications, which unfortunately this device does not have.

Battery with normal use easily lasts me one and a half to two days with the screen at 120 Hz, there is an option to go lower for battery savings (this varies from user to user of course. For reference, I had the iPhone 14 Pro and needed charging in the afternoon). It has an option to charge up to 80 or 90% to extend battery health.
More compact in size than the S24 Ultra and Pro Max. And very lightweight.
Screen, no complaints. Excellent. And without the nonsense of the front camera being on the screen.
Incredible speakers for a mobile phone which are at the top and bottom of the screen. Okay, I don't listen to music because I have speakers at home, but if you watch a movie, the sound is amazing.
Fingerprint scanner very good and in a very good position on the side, very quick response. Since it has been reported in older models that it breaks relatively often, I set it to unlock with touch without needing to press the button.
Camera seems very good to me but I'm not an expert. Compared to my iPhone 14 Pro, they seem much better and closer to reality, with fewer distortions and clearly much less processing. They released a new simplified app. I preferred the old one. It shoots 4K 120FPS video.
It takes microSD and has a 3.5mm jack. Some technologies for audiophiles and for enhancing wireless sound and a good amplifier for wired sound. However, I can't confirm this either because I'm not that knowledgeable on the subject. To me, it sounds very good.
Negatives:
It doesn't have the Sony Bravia Core installed like previous phones did.
Stock Android is positive on one hand, but on the other hand, it's not very customizable.
Obviously, the cost.
Μπαταρία με νορμάλ χρήση άνετα μου βγάζει μιάμιση με δύο ημέρες με την οθόνη στα 120 hz, υπάρχει επιλογή να πάει σε λιγότερα για οικονομία μπαταρίας ( αυτό διαφέρει από χρήστη σε χρήστη βέβαια . Ενδεικτικά είχα το iphone 14 pro και ήθελα φόρτιση κατά το απόγευμα) . Εχει επιλογή να φορτίζει εως 80 ή 90% ώστε να παρατείνει την υγεία της μπαταρίας.
Πιο κόμπακτ σε μέγεθος από το s24 ultra και pro max . Και πολύ ελαφρύ.
Οθόνη κανενα παράπονο. Άριστη. Και χωρίς την βλακεία της μπροστινής κάμερας να είναι πάνω στην οθόνη.
Τρομερά ηχεία για κινητό τα οποία είναι στο πάνω και κάτω μέρος της οθόνης . Οκ μουσική δεν ακούω γιατί έχω ηχεία στο σπίτι , αλλά αν βάλεις να δεις καμιά ταινία ο ήχος είναι τρομερός .
Fingerprint scanner πολύ καλό και σε πολύ καλή θέση στο πλάι , πολύ γρήγορη απόκριση . Επειδή έχει αναφερθεί σε παλιότερα μοντέλα ότι χαλάει σχετικά συχνά , το έβαλα να ξεκλειδώνει με την αφή χωρίς να χρειάζεται να πατήσεις το κουμπί.
Κάμερα μου φαίνεται πολύ καλή αλλά δεν είμαι και ειδικός. Σε σχέση με το iphone 14pro μου φαίνονται πολύ καλύτερες και πιο κοντά στην πραγματικότητα , με λιγότερες παραμορφώσεις και σαφώς πολύ λιγότερη επεξεργασία. Έβγαλαν νέα απλουστευμένη εφαρμογή. Προτιμούσα την παλιά . Τραβάει Βίντεο 4Κ 120FPS.
Περνει microsd και έχει 3.5mm jack. Κάποιες τεχνολογίες για τους audiophiles και για την ενίσχυση του ασύρματου ήχου και καλό ενισχυτή για τον ενσύρματο ήχο . Ωστόσο ούτε αυτό μπορώ να το επιβεβαιώσω γιατί δεν είμαι τόσο σχετικός με το θέμα. Εμενα μου ακούγεται πολύ καλός.
Αρνητικά:
Δεν έχει εγκατεστημένο το sony bravia core όπως είχαν τα προηγούμενα κινητά .
Stock android από την μια θετικό , από την άλλη δεν ειναι πολύ τροποποιήσιμο.
Προφανώς το κόστος.
It is an excellent flagship, and this time I do not find compromises due to the manufacturer. It will also suit mainstream users.
The camera is fantastic, and the optical zoom works properly. Up to 5x in nighttime conditions. It is the 3rd generation of the rolling optical zoom, because the 1st generation (Xperia 1 IV) I had never worked satisfactorily. The Macro mode activates on its own during focusing, and it works flawlessly. Finally, the camera app is one and fast. Natural colors with excellent auto focus. In recording 4K video, at least now with the high heat, it overheats in 3 minutes. I have no image from other flagships with this specific processor.
The screen is very bright, and the scrolling is amazing. The resolution is wrongly not QHD and I personally preferred the previous screen ratio in Xperia. I have ordered the Sony case, when they decide to import it, which does not cover much of the sides so I can hold the phone more comfortably.
The fingerprint scanner on the side is, for me, superior in usability to the screen scanner. However, if I learned anything from owning the Xperia 1 IV, it is that if the button/scanner gets scratched, you are done for. They continuously throw errors and some become completely useless. Its replacement is difficult.
At the price it is sold, which in itself is a serious disadvantage (it's worth shopping at launch if you want the latest and greatest Sony Bluetooth headphones), there should be an option for a 16GB model. Because I do heavy multitasking, I restart it every two days to prevent it from freezing.
The battery lasts a day and a half with heavy use.
The speakers play loud and clear, and they have indeed achieved decent performance in the minijack circuit as advertised (for a phone). I always believed that the minijack is useless if it causes distortion (it doesn't) or has obvious weaknesses. However, it gives very little bass.

Είναι ένα εξαιρετικό flagship, και αυτή τη φορά δεν εντοπίζω συμβιβασμούς λόγω κατασκευαστή. Θα βολέψει και τους mainstream χρήστες.
Η κάμερα είναι φανταστική, και το οπτικό ζούμ λειτουργεί σωστά. Μέχρι τα 5x υπό συνθήκες το βράδυ. Είναι η 3η γενιά του κυλιόμενου οπτικού zoom, διότη η 1η γενιά (xperia 1 IV) που είχα, ποτέ δεν λειτούργησε ικανοποιητικά. Το Macro mode μπαίνει και μόνο του κατά την εστίαση, λειτουργεί άψογα. Επιτέλους, η εφαρμογή της κάμερας είναι μία και γρήγορη. Φυσικά χρώματα με εξαιρετικό auto focus. Σε καταγραφή 4Κ βίντεο, τουλάστον τώρα με τις μεγάλες ζέστες, υπερθερμαίνεται στο 3λεπτο. Δεν έχω εικόνα από άλλα flagship με τον συγκεκριμένο επεξεργαστή.
Η οθόνη είναι πολύ φωτεινή, και το scrolling καταπληκτικό. Η ανάλυση κακώς δεν είναι QHD και προσωπικά προτιμούσα αρκετά την προηγούμενη αναλογία οθόνης στα xperia. Έχω παραγγείλει τη θήκη της sony, όταν αξιωθούν να την εισάγουν, που δεν καλύπτει πολύ τα πλαϊνά ώστε να πιάνω το κινητό πιο άνετα.
Ο fingerprint scanner στο πλάι είναι για μένα ανώτερος σε χρηστικότητα από το σκάνερ οθόνης. Αν όμως έμαθα κάτι από την κατοχή του xperia 1 IV, είναι ότι αν γρατζουνιστεί το κουμπι/scanner την έβαψες. Βγάζουν συνέχεια errors και άλλοι αχρηστεύονται τελείως. Η αντικατάσταση του είναι δύσκολη.
Στην τιμή που πωλείται, που από μόνη της είναι σοβαρό μειονέκτημα (αξίζει να ψωνιζεις στο λανσάρισμα αν θες τα latest and greatest bluetooth headphones της sony) , θα έπρεπε να υπάρχει η επιλογή για 16GB μοντέλο. Επειδή κάνω βαρύ multitask, το κάνω restart ανά δυό μέρες για να μην μου κολλάει.
Η μπαταρία με σοβαρή χρήση κρατάει μιάμιση μέρα.
Τα ηχεία παίζουν δυνατά και καθαρά, και όντως έχουν πετύχει αξιοπρεπή απόδωση στο κύκλωμα του minijack όπως διαφημίστηκε (για κινητό). Πάντα πίστευα ότι το minijack είναι άχρηστο αν κάνει παραμόρφωση (δεν κάνει) ή έχει εμφανείς αδυναμίες. Πάντως δίνει ελάχιστα μπάσα.
Αυτά προς το παρόν, θα ενημερώσω μελλοντικά με περισσότερα υπέρ /κατά.
After almost a month of almost daily use, I can confidently say that it is the best thing that has passed through my hands. Small and light, it feels like you're not holding a phone. Incredible construction. The screen is very clear even in direct sunlight. The battery lasts me for more than two days. It would be better if it charged in less time. Clean software without unnecessary gimmicks. Very fast device. It doesn't lag no matter what you do. Now, let's talk about the camera!!! It's amazing. With a little bit of searching, you can take photos that look like they were taken with a professional camera. The menu is already familiar to me because I also have the previous model. However, even in automatic mode, it takes perfect photos. The colors are really accurate, although it loses a bit of quality at 170x zoom, but I think an upgrade will fix that. The company's promotion is nothing compared to the product they have created.
Μετά από ένα μήνα σχεδόν καθημερινής χρήσης μπορώ να πω με σιγουριά ότι είναι ότι καλύτερο έχει περάσει από τα χέρια μου. Μικρό ελαφρύ σαν να μη κρατάς κινητό. Απίστευτη κατασκευή. Οθόνη που βλέπεις με τον ήλιο πάνω πολύ καθαρά. Μπαταρία που βγάζει σε εμένα πάνω από δυο μέρες. Αν φόρτιζε σε πιο λίγο χρόνο θα ήταν καλύτερο. Καθαρό λογισμικό χωρίς περιττές σαχλαμάρες. Πολύ γρήγορη συσκευή. Δεν καταλαβαίνει τίποτα ότι και να κανεις. Τώρα με την κάμερα!!! Φοβερή. Με λίγο ψάξιμο βγάζεις φωτογραφίες επαγγελματικής α κάμερας, το μενού μου είναι ήδη γνωστό επειδή έχω και την α. Όμως και στο αυτόματο βγάζει τέλειες φωτογραφίες. Πραγματικά χρώματα , λίγο στο ζουμ 170 χάνει αλλά νομίζω με μια αναβάθμιση θα το φτιάξει. Η προβολή από την εταιρία είναι λίγη μπροστά στο προϊόν που έχει φτιάξει.
I wanted something special, and a significant role in my purchase was played by stock Android. I was tired of so many years with devices full of useless pre-installed apps that couldn't be uninstalled.
I won't write about the cameras because, honestly, I haven't dealt with them at all all these years—I just take the photos I need and that's it.
However, I will write about the excellent sound quality you hear from its "speakers," and even if you are not an expert, it's impossible not to notice it.
I will also mention the excellent fingerprint scanner, which up to now as I write this review has not failed even once, unlike my previous device which sometimes drove me to my limits.
You learn to appreciate the better when you have tried the worst.
I will continue with the screen, and of course I won't praise how good and bright it is as most people would, but I will comment on Sony's excellent decision to reduce the ppi and ensure the device works excellently with the battery, giving very good operating times, something today's user needs.
Those of you who have dealt a bit more with technology, I imagine you understand that screens with high ppi are power-hungry and essentially useless on smartphones.
Now, let's go to the sound—here, Sony literally plays in a league of its own, not only because it continues to support the wired headphone output thanks to the 3.5 mm jack, but more so due to the electronic circuits it uses to deliver sound to the 3.5 mm jack.
I dare say that if you use a pair of quality headphones with equally high-quality music files, you will be pleasantly surprised by the audio result.
Of course, I can't leave unmentioned the Snapdragon series 8 processor, which since back in 2017 when I bought the OnePlus 5T made me realize what a good processor means (by the way, it still works excellently today with LineageOS 21).
Trouble-free and fast, I am sure it will give the device excellent longevity, as I don't usually change devices often.
In closing, I will mention a complaint regarding the LED for notifications, which unfortunately this device does not have.
I'm old school, and as I get older, my quirks grow too.
And a note that perhaps I should have written at the beginning of the review.
Everything I write about the device is directly connected to the price I bought it for (an excellent deal at half the original price Sony set).
I will disappoint you a bit towards the end though—the device in no way represents the original price of about 1400 euros that the company charges.
Anyone with that much money to spend, hand on heart, should definitely look for another product.

Ήθελα κάτι ξεχωριστό σημαντικό ρόλο στήν αγορά του έπαιξε τό stock Android είχα βαρεθεί τόσα χρόνια συσκευές μέ άχρηστες εφαρμογές προεγκατεστημένες χωρίς δυνατότητα απεγκατάστασης.
Δέν θά γράψω για τίς κάμερες γιατί πραγματικά δέν έχω ασχοληθεί καθόλου όλα τά χρόνια απλά φωτογραφίζω ότι χρειάζομαι και τέλος.
Θά γράψω όμως για τήν εξαιρετική ποιότητα ήχου πού ακούς από τά "ηχεία" του, καί άσχετος νά είσαι είναι αδύνατον νά μήν τό προσέξεις.
Επίσης θά αναφέρω και τόν εξαιρετικό ανιχνευτή δακτυλικού αποτυπώματος ο οποίος μέχρι τώρα πού γράφω αυτή την αξιολόγηση πραγματικά δέν έχει καμία αστοχία σέ αντίθεση μέ τήν προηγούμενη συσκευή μου που κάποιες φορές μέ έφερνε στά όρια μου.
Μαθαίνεις νά εκτιμάς τό καλύτερο όταν έχεις δοκιμάσει το χειρότερο.
Θά συνεχίσω μέ τήν οθόνη στήν οποία φυσικά δέν θά εκθειάσω τό πόσο καλή καί φωτεινή είναι όπως θά έκαναν οι περισσότεροι αλλά θά σχολιάσω τήν εξαιρετική επιλογή τής sony νά μειώσει τά ppi καί νά εξασφαλίσει στήν συσκευή μία εξαιρετική συνεργασία μέ τήν μπαταρία δίνοντας πολύ καλούς χρόνους λειτουργίας κάτι πού χρειάζεται ο σημερινός χρήστης.
Όσοι έχετε ασχοληθεί λίγο περισσότερο μέ τήν τεχνολογία φαντάζομαι ότι καταλαβαίνετε ότι οθόνες μέ υψηλά ppi είναι ενεργοβόρες καί ουσιαστικά άχρηστες στά smartphone.
Πάμε τώρα στόν ήχο εδώ λοιπόν ή sony κυριολεκτικά παίζει μπάλα μόνη της όχι μόνο επειδή συνεχίζει νά υποστηρίζει την ενσύρματη έξοδο ακουστικων χάρη στο βύσμα 3.5 mm αλλά περισσότερο στά ηλεκτρονικά κυκλώματα πού χρησιμοποιεί ώσπου νά φτάσει ο ήχος στο βύσμα 3.5 mm.
Θά τολμήσω νά πω ότι εάν χρησιμοποιήσετε ένα ζευγάρι ποιοτικά ακουστικά μέ ανάλογης ποιότητας μουσικά αρχεία θά εκπλαγείτε ευχάριστα από το ηχητικό αποτέλεσμα.
Φυσικά δεν μπορώ νά αφήσω ασχολίαστο τόν επεξεργαστή snapdragon σειρά 8 πού από τό μακρινό 2017 όταν αγόρασα τό oneplus 5T μέ έκανε νά αντιληφθώ τί σημαίνει καλός επεξεργαστής (παρεπιπτόντως μέχρι σήμερα λειτουργεί εξαιρετικά μέ lineageos 21)
Απροβλημάτιστος καί γρήγορος είμαι σίγουρος ότι θά δώσει εξαιρετική μακροβιότητα στήν συσκευη μιας καί δεν συνηθίζω νά αλλάζω τακτικά συσκευές.
Τελειώνοντας θά αναφέρω και ένα παράπονο που αφορά το led για τίς ειδοποιήσεις πού δυστυχώς σέ αυτή τήν συσκευή δεν υπάρχει.
Είμαι τής παλιάς σχολής καί όσο μεγαλώνω μεγαλώνουν καί οι παραξενιές μου.
Καί μία επισήμανση πού ίσως έπρεπε νά γράψω στήν αρχή της αξιολόγησης.
Ότι γράφω για τήν συσκευή είναι αμέσα συνδεδεμένο με τήν τιμή πού τό αγόρασα (εξαιρετική περίπτωση στά μισά χρήματα από τήν αρχική τιμή πού τό κοστολογεί ή sony)
Θά σάς στεναχωρήσω λίγο πρός τό τέλος όμως ή συσκευή σέ καμία περίπτωση δεν αντιπροσωπεύει τήν αρχική τιμή των 1400 ευρώ περίπου που τό κοστολογεί η εταιρεία.
Όποιος έχει τόσα χρήματα νά δώσει μέ τό χέρι στήν καρδιά σίγουρα πρέπει νά στραφεί σέ κάποιο άλλο προϊόν.
Αγαπάμε τήν sony εδώ καί αρκετές δεκαετίες τίς αλήθειες όμως πρέπει νά τίς λέμε.

After 2 months of living with the Xperia 1 V, which I got rid of due to the problems it had (mainly excessive overheating).
I got the Xperia 1 VI, which has been incredibly convenient for me.
It doesn't heat up, has a larger screen, bright, with better proportions and with lower resolution, since high resolution on phones only drains the battery.
The camera is flawless, and it has very convenient pro modes.
A serious negative is the "slow" charging. 30W is way too little in 2024, especially for a phone that costs around 1,500 euros.
Μετά από 2 μήνες συμβίωσης με το Xperia 1 V, το οποίο ξεφορτώθηκα λόγω των προβλημάτων που είχε (κυρίως υπερβολική υπερθέρμανση).
Πήρα το Xperia 1 VI, το οποίο με βόλεψε απίστευτα.
Δεν ζεσταίνεται, έχει μεγαλύτερη οθόνη, φωτεινή, με καλύτερες αναλογίες και με μικρότερη ανάλυση, μιας και η μεγάλη ανάλυση στα κινητά μόνο μπαταρία τρώει.
Η κάμερα είναι άψογη, και έχει πολύ βολικά pro modes.
Σοβαρό αρνητικό, η "αργή" φόρτιση. 30W είναι πάρα πολύ λίγα το 2024 ειδικά σε κινητό που κοστίζει ~1.500 ευρώ.
