The kickback protection stops the chain for a few milliseconds in the event of a kickback, ensuring maximum safety during cutting. As part of the 20-volt Scheppach IXES series, all batteries and chargers from the series can be combined with the chainsaw. The battery and charger are sold separately.

The C-CS254-X comes with 125 ml of chain oil and a guard for the guide bar.
