Replacement for the Vario Katadyn filter. A water filter is an essential piece of equipment for every camper and survivor going on long trips. This device is necessary for processing water from streams, lakes, or rivers.

The ceramic cartridge acts as a pre-filter and can be cleaned for multiple uses. It is designed to protect the fiberglass insert from contamination. It removes bacteria, algae, protozoa, cysts, and other microorganisms from the water associated with particles larger than 0.2 micrometers.

The filter comes with a leaflet with description and instructions for use.
