The Topdon TB8000 battery charger and maintainer charges and maintains 6 V and 12 V batteries in cars, motorcycles, recreational boats, trucks and lawn mowers. It is compatible with WET, MF, SMF, AGM, EFB and CAL lead-acid batteries, as well as GEL and lithium batteries. It supports battery capacities from 15 Ah to 260 Ah.
Its six modes include standard 8 A charging at 12 V, cold-weather charging and 12 V lithium battery charging, standard 3 A charging at 12 V, 6 V charging and 12 V repair. Its 9-step smart charging process includes diagnosis, desulfation, pre-charge, initial start-up, bulk charging, absorption, analysis, recovery and maintenance. The enclosure is IP65-rated, and the charger features protection against reverse polarity, sparks, short circuits, overvoltage and overheating.
