The Exo Terra heating cable features anti-static wire embedded in double-layer silicone. The silicone coating allows for placement of the cable inside the terrarium or enclosure. When installed within the terrarium, it should be secured to prevent animals from having direct access to it. The double insulation provides safety. It is made from a material highly resistant to moisture and can even be used for full submersion, such as in incubators or pools. It can be used in Rack systems.
