The Deante BQR F28R single-lever basin tap activates the flow when a hand approaches the Duoimpuls sensor and stops it when the hand moves away. It does not regulate the temperature and requires a supply of premixed water or a central mixer. It is powered by 4 × AA batteries, while the sensor draws power in pulses when the flow is turned on and off.

The housing is made of 3 mm-thick stainless steel. The movable, deeply recessed silicone aerator allows the water flow to be directed, enriches the water with air and makes limescale easier to remove. The sensor is located at the top of the tap body, near the aerator.
