HEAVY METAL SILICON EFFECT

Silicone-based enamel with high durability and embossed texture, suitable for internal and external metal surfaces.

This type of Heavy Metal Silicon contains a high percentage of iron oxide particles, which gives the painted surface a unique decorative finish and at the same time provides high resistance to corrosion and ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

PREPARATION

Surfaces must be cleaned with Brush Thinner T 300, be dry and smooth, free of dust, oils and sanded with appropriate sandpaper. Wooden surfaces, after proper preparation, are primed with Velatura. Metal surfaces are primed with anti-rust primer (Anti-Rust Primer, Minium Primer, or Metal Primer).

APPLICATION

The product is stirred well before use. It can be applied to metal surfaces without a primer, provided that the film thickness is sufficient (at least 100 μm).

• Applied in two coats with a roller or brush with a dilution of 5% with Brush Thinner T 300 or airless spray gun with a dilution of 10-15% with Gun Thinner T 350.
• Should not be applied at temperatures below 5°C and above 35°C.

The product is touch dry in 2-3 hours and can be recoated after 16-18 hours.

Rollers, brushes, and stains on the floor are cleaned with Brush Thinner T 300 and then with soap or detergent.
