Laser Motion Sensor.
The DRL-12 is a laser distance sensor designed for controlling lighting in hallways and stairs.
- Detection accuracy from 0.1 to 2 m.
- Direct load up to 50 W/12 V DC.
- Compatible with AS-225 controllers.
- Built-in brightness sensor.
Operation:
The operating principle of the Time of Flight laser distance sensor involves emitting a light beam and measuring the delay of the light returning due to reflection from an obstacle. This allows for accurate determination of the object's distance. This distance is then compared with the specified detection range. If something appears within a distance less than the specified value, the light is activated. This solution works excellently for activating lighting circuits, for example, in open stairs, where it is important for the sensor to detect presence only on the stairs and ignore everything else.
