Ouzo Babatzim is an authentic Greek alcoholic beverage made from anise and fennel seeds, grown in Macedonia. Its production process takes place in traditional Greek distilleries, ensuring absolute quality control.
The raw materials are exclusively plant-based, such as figs, carobs, molasses, and cereals. The alcohol is diluted with water and enriched with anise and fennel. The distillation lasts about 18 hours with gentle boiling, collecting only the purest part of the distillation, the so-called "heart."
Ouzo Babatzim has an alcohol content of 40% vol and retains its rich aroma and taste thanks to the high percentage (30-33%) of the "heart of the distillation." It contains a hint of Chios mastic, giving it a unique character.
It is a high-quality product, flooded with subtle flavorful and aromatic notes.
