Trumpeter: HMS Exeter in scale 1:700
The heavy cruiser Exeter is a ship of the British Royal Naval Force during World War II, belonging to the York class. The ship was named after four warships. It suffered severe damage in the Battle of the River Plate in 1939 and in the clash with the German battleship Admiral Graf Spey. After its reconstruction, the ship was sent to India, where it was sunk by the Japanese naval force during the Battle of Surabaya in 1942.
