Cynodon dactylon Bermuda grass seed produces a perennial lawn suitable for gardens, sports facilities and parks. This creeping, warm-season plant is drought-, traffic-, salt- and heat-tolerant, while its root system helps prevent soil erosion. Below 10–12 °C, it goes dormant and turns yellow; its colour returns in spring.
Sow in spring or summer, when the soil temperature exceeds 18 °C. Germination takes about 20 days, and frequent, light watering is required until the lawn is established. In summer, watering early in the morning or late in the evening is recommended. Regular mowing to 2.5–5 cm encourages a dense lawn, while the plant has higher nitrogen requirements in summer.
