Matte acrylic paints, water-soluble and specially formulated for airbrush. The Model Air color range contains the most complete selection of military colors used in modern history, including colors from World War I and II to the present day. Each color is based on extensive research by our specialists regarding existing and previous military references, in order to provide the modeler with the maximum possible historical accuracy.
Model Air is used directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prime the surface and then apply Model Air in multiple layers. The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous layer of color with excellent durability, preserving even the finest details of the model.
For airbrushing, the suggested compressor air pressure is 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Naturally, Model Air can also be applied with a brush. For proper maintenance of the airbrush, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is recommended.
Safety: Model Air is not flammable and does not contain solvents. Please also refer to the certified safety information of the product on the Safety page.
Packaging: Model Air is presented in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint in the container, allowing it to be used in minimal quantities and preserved for a long time.
