For several years now, I have been using a rechargeable PHILIPS for myself and my son's haircuts. I decided to buy this particular model for two reasons:
1. It was tiring to wait for several hours for the rechargeable batteries of the old PHILIPS to charge or to run out of battery before finishing the haircut!
2. After years of use, the rechargeable batteries would deteriorate, rendering the machine useless.

Αποφασισα να αγορασω το συγκεκριμενο μοντελο,για δυο λογους:

Attention, it is not suitable for cutting. The levels of the attachment start from No3 at the minimum, which corresponds to No6+. As a trimmer, it works satisfactorily, which is expected for a new Philips product.

I have used it 5 times. I have removed the comb since I don't have that much hair, so I don't know if the machine struggles with a lot of hair. For the use I make (hair - beard) I am very satisfied! I have recommended it to someone else to buy because it is very economical and does a good job

This is the best hair clipper, immortal I have bought the same one for the second time. very powerful it doesn't struggle anywhere. my first one lasted over ten years and still works perfectly. the blades never need sharpening.

VFM hair clipper in all aspects, it doesn't get clogged with hair, it doesn't have a battery but I prefer it because batteries tend to wear out relatively quickly. It seems relatively delicate and not sturdy as a device; the future will show regarding its durability.

Very good for the money. Relatively quiet and with a rounded blade that doesn't scratch. Also very light compared to others. I had bought it again in the past and used it very often for over 3 years. In the meantime, I had a professional one that cost three times as much, which got so hot that it burned you on direct contact with the skin of the head. With the Philips, I never had such an issue, that's why I bought it again. I use it for shaving my head. In 3-4 minutes I'm done.
Πολύ καλή για τα χρήματά της. Αθόρυβη σχετικά και με στρογγυλεμένη λεπίδα που δεν γρατσουνάει. Επίσης ελαφρυά πολύ σε σχέση με άλλες. Την είχα αγοράσει ξανά στο παρελθόν και την χρησιμοποιούσα πολύ συχνά για πάνω από 3 χρόνια. Στο ενδιάμεσο είχα μια επαγγελματική με τα τριπλά χρήματα η οποία ζεσταινόταν τόσο που καιγόσουν στην απευθείας επαφή της κεφαλής με το δέρμα του κεφαλιού. Στην Philips δεν είχα ποτέ τέτοιο θέμα γιαυτό την αγόρασα ξανά. Την χρησιμοποιώ για ξύρισμα του κεφαλιού. Σε 3-4' έχω τελειώσει.

Μετα απο 10 χρονια χρησης δηλωνω απολυτα ικανοποιημενος! Αν μου χαλασει αυτη που εχω θα παω να την ξαναπαρω αμεσως αν υπαρχει ακομα. Επειδη ειναι ρευματος ειναι πολυ δυνατη και δεν μπουκωνει ή κολαει καθολου! Κοβει παραπολυ καλα και ευκολα την τριχα!
The Philips machine is excellent, like all its machines, it trims and shaves comfortably. It may not be as sharp as a razor, but it does a good job. It also trims well, although someone with thick hair might struggle a bit. It has good power and is easy to clean with its brush. It doesn't need oil, as it is self-sharpening. It has a decent length of cable. Overall, it is worth its money

I have it since November 2017..... Until today, it's a black dog..... Every month it has its honor for trimming, and twice a month for grooming.... It doesn't get clogged... its cable is about 1.8-2 meters long, but very thin.... It doesn't have a built-in battery, so it needs to be permanently connected to the socket when in use.... I have broken the two left teeth of the comb, but it still does its job.... It is a must in this price category.... I would definitely buy it again.
Την έχω από τον Νοέμβρη του 2017..... Μέχρι σήμερα, σκυλί μαύρο..... Κάθε μήνα έχει την τιμητική της για κουρεμα, και δύο φορές το μήνα για τριμάρισμα.... Δεν μπουκώνει... το καλώδιο του, είναι περίπου 1,8-2 μέτρα, αλλά παρά πολύ λεπτό.... Ενσωματωμένη μπαταρία, δεν έχει, οπότε χρειάζεται να είναι μόνιμα συνδεδεμένο στην πρίζα, όταν χρησιμοποιείται.... Μου έχουν σπάσει τα 2 αριστερά δοντακια της χτένας, αλλά και πάλι την δουλειά της την κανει.... Είναι must σε τέτοια κατηγορία τιμής.... Σίγουρα θα την ξαναγόραζα.....
Very good hair clipper that I have for many years, definitely 8 years or more. I cut my husband's hair, my son's hair, and many others with it. It started to slow down with a lot of use, but it still works like a charm. Now I bought the same one again, just with a cord and no battery like the previous one, but it doesn't bother me at all. Price is 18.90 with shipping costs. I highly recommend it.
Πολύ καλή κουρευτικη μηχανη τιν έχω παρά πολλά χρόνια σίγουρα 8 χρόνια μπορεί και παραπάνω, κουρεύο τον άντρα μου το γιό μου και πολύς άλλους με τιν πολύ χρήσι άρχισε να ρεταρι φυσιολογικό... αλλά δουλεύει σκυλί μιλάμε ,τώρα ξανά πήρα τιν υδια απλά είναι με καλώδιο δεν περιέχει μπαταρια οπός η προηγούμενη δεν με πειράζει καθόλου... τιμή 18.90 με τα έξοδα αποστολής. Την συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.
Quite a good shaving/trimming machine, as long as you don't want it completely clean-shaven. Meaning, you won't have a military shave, it leaves some stubble that makes you look unshaven for 1-2 days. Other than that, it is quite powerful, user-friendly, cleans very easily, appears to be of good quality, the cord is long enough, and it doesn't heat up while using it
Αρκετά καλή ξυριστικη/κουρευτική μηχανή, αρκεί να μη θες να τα πάρει τελείως. Δλδ δε θα έχεις ξύρισμα για στρατό, αφήνει λίγα μούσια που μοιάζεις αξύριστος 1-2 ημερών. Κατά τα άλλα, αρκετά δυνατή, εύχρηστη, καθαρίζει πολύ εύκολα, δείχνει ποιοτική, το καλώδιο είναι αρκετά μακρύ, κ δε μου ζεσταίνεται όσο την χρησιμοποιώ
I have the QC5120(!) which is almost the same model for about 13 years now.
I cut my hair (by myself) every 2 months, and if necessary, I also cut a friend's hair.
Shaving depends on the weather, and also on the body.
The machine has seen a lot of use. It has fallen and a tooth from the top comb has broken, but other than that, with good cleaning after each use, it has never disappointed me.
Έχω την QC5120(!) που είναι σχεδόν ίδιο μοντέλο εδώ και περίπου 13 χρόνια.
Κουρεύομαι (μόνος μου) κάθε 2 μήνες, κι άμα τύχει κουρεύω και κάποιο φίλο.
Ξύρισμα ανάλογα με τον καιρό, και στο σώμα.
Η μηχανή έχει δεί πάρα πολλή χρήση. Μου έχει πέσει και έχει σπάσει ένα δόντι από το χτενάκι επάνω, αλλά πέρα από αυτό, με καλό καθάρισμα μετά από κάθε χρήση, δεν με έχει απογοητεύσει ποτέ.
POSITIVES: satisfactory trimming, very lightweight, quite cheap.
NEGATIVES: Works only with a cord, fake and very fragile plastic attachments, therefore with light use the lock on the blades broke so it does not secure well.
It trims moderately to well because it does not have enough power for hair and tends to get stuck especially in thick hair.
ΘΕΤΙΚΑ: ικανοπoιητικό trimming, πολύ ελαφριά, αρκετά φθηνή.
ΑΡΝΗΤΙΚΑ: Δουλεύει μόνο με καλώδιο, ψεύτικα και πάρα πολύ εύθραυστα πλαστικά εξαρτήματα, για αυτό
με ελαφριά χρήση έσπασε το κούμπωμα στις λεπίδες ώστε να μη στερεώνεται καλά.
Κουρεύει μέτρια προς καλά γιατί δεν έχει τόσο καλή ισχύ για μαλλιά και ψιλοκολλάει ειδικά σε πυκνό μαλλί.
The machine is a beast. My previous machine was also a Philips with a cord (no battery) and I used it about 6-7 times a month for shaving and haircuts for a whole 9 years! A workhorse. When the front plastic broke, I preferred to get a new one because I was tired of it after so many years, and mainly because the part that broke cost half the price—including shipping—of this particular machine. I hadn't decided what model I would get or whether it would be corded or cordless, but what I knew for sure was that it would be Philips.
So after a brief search, I ended up with this one due to positive reviews and high ratings. I've had it for a year now and it works perfectly. I believe this one will also prove to be a WORKHORSE like the previous one. Time will tell.
If you want something cheap and of good quality, I wholeheartedly advise you to get this one.
Update: 29/10/2025 Still going strong as expected. A workhorse.
Η μηχανή θερίζει. Η προηγούμενη μηχανή που είχα ήταν επίσης Philips με καλώδιο (χωρίς μπαταρία) και την χρησιμοποιούσα κάπου 6-7 φορές το μήνα για ξύρισμα και κούρεμα για 9 ολόκληρα χρόνια! Σκυλί. Όταν έσπασε το μπροστινό πλαστικό προτίμησα να πάρω μια καινούργια γιατί την είχα βαρεθεί τόσα χρόνια που την είχα, και το κυριότερο, γιατί το εξάρτημα που έσπασε έβγαινε στη μισή τιμή -μαζί με μεταφορικά- της συγκεκριμένης μηχανής. Δεν είχα αποφασίσει τι μοντέλο θα έπαιρνα ή αν θα ήταν με/χωρίς καλώδιο αυτό όμως που ήξερα στα σίγουρα ήταν ότι θα ήταν Philips.
Έτσι λοιπόν μετά από μια σύντομη αναζήτηση κατέληξα σε αυτήν λόγω θετικών κριτικών και υψηλής βαθμολογίας. Πλέον την έχω για ένα χρόνο και δουλεύει κανονικότατα. Πιστεύω ότι και αυτή θα αποδειχθεί ΣΚΥΛΙ όπως η προηγούμενη. Μένει να δούμε.
Αν θέλετε κάτι φθηνό και ποιοτικό σας συμβουλεύω με κλειστά μάτια να πάρετε τη συγκεκριμένη.

Very good machine as long as it is used simply as a trimmer. With its comb on top, it doesn't do such a good job. However, for "cleaning" at low settings or for someone looking for a shaving machine to shave their face, it is the best "cheap" option. The fact that it is powered by electricity without a battery may have the negative aspect of not being wireless, but it extends its life significantly, even in professional use.
Πολυ καλη μηχανη εφ οσον χρησιμοποιηθει απλα ως τριμμερ. Με το χτενακι της επανω δεν κανει και τοσο καλη δουλεια.Για ''καθαρισμα'' ομως στα χαμηλα η για καποιον που ψαχνει μια κουρευτικη για να ξυριζει το προσωπο του ειναι η καλυτερη ''φθηνη''. Το οτι ειναι ρευματος χωρις μπαταρια μπορει να εχει το αρνητικο της ασυρματης χρησης παρατεινει τη ζωη της ομως κατα πολυ ακομα και σε επαγγελματικη χρηση.

I have used it 5 times. I have removed the comb since I don't have that much hair, so I don't know if the machine struggles with a lot of hair. For the use I make (hair - beard) I am very satisfied! I have recommended it to someone else to buy because it is very economical and does a good job

VFM hair clipper in all aspects, it doesn't get clogged with hair, it doesn't have a battery but I prefer it because batteries tend to wear out relatively quickly. It seems relatively delicate and not sturdy as a device; the future will show regarding its durability.

Very good for the money. Relatively quiet and with a rounded blade that doesn't scratch. Also very light compared to others. I had bought it again in the past and used it very often for over 3 years. In the meantime, I had a professional one that cost three times as much, which got so hot that it burned you on direct contact with the skin of the head. With the Philips, I never had such an issue, that's why I bought it again. I use it for shaving my head. In 3-4 minutes I'm done.
Πολύ καλή για τα χρήματά της. Αθόρυβη σχετικά και με στρογγυλεμένη λεπίδα που δεν γρατσουνάει. Επίσης ελαφρυά πολύ σε σχέση με άλλες. Την είχα αγοράσει ξανά στο παρελθόν και την χρησιμοποιούσα πολύ συχνά για πάνω από 3 χρόνια. Στο ενδιάμεσο είχα μια επαγγελματική με τα τριπλά χρήματα η οποία ζεσταινόταν τόσο που καιγόσουν στην απευθείας επαφή της κεφαλής με το δέρμα του κεφαλιού. Στην Philips δεν είχα ποτέ τέτοιο θέμα γιαυτό την αγόρασα ξανά. Την χρησιμοποιώ για ξύρισμα του κεφαλιού. Σε 3-4' έχω τελειώσει.

The Philips machine is excellent, like all its machines, it trims and shaves comfortably. It may not be as sharp as a razor, but it does a good job. It also trims well, although someone with thick hair might struggle a bit. It has good power and is easy to clean with its brush. It doesn't need oil, as it is self-sharpening. It has a decent length of cable. Overall, it is worth its money

I have it since November 2017..... Until today, it's a black dog..... Every month it has its honor for trimming, and twice a month for grooming.... It doesn't get clogged... its cable is about 1.8-2 meters long, but very thin.... It doesn't have a built-in battery, so it needs to be permanently connected to the socket when in use.... I have broken the two left teeth of the comb, but it still does its job.... It is a must in this price category.... I would definitely buy it again.
Την έχω από τον Νοέμβρη του 2017..... Μέχρι σήμερα, σκυλί μαύρο..... Κάθε μήνα έχει την τιμητική της για κουρεμα, και δύο φορές το μήνα για τριμάρισμα.... Δεν μπουκώνει... το καλώδιο του, είναι περίπου 1,8-2 μέτρα, αλλά παρά πολύ λεπτό.... Ενσωματωμένη μπαταρία, δεν έχει, οπότε χρειάζεται να είναι μόνιμα συνδεδεμένο στην πρίζα, όταν χρησιμοποιείται.... Μου έχουν σπάσει τα 2 αριστερά δοντακια της χτένας, αλλά και πάλι την δουλειά της την κανει.... Είναι must σε τέτοια κατηγορία τιμής.... Σίγουρα θα την ξαναγόραζα.....
Very good hair clipper that I have for many years, definitely 8 years or more. I cut my husband's hair, my son's hair, and many others with it. It started to slow down with a lot of use, but it still works like a charm. Now I bought the same one again, just with a cord and no battery like the previous one, but it doesn't bother me at all. Price is 18.90 with shipping costs. I highly recommend it.
Πολύ καλή κουρευτικη μηχανη τιν έχω παρά πολλά χρόνια σίγουρα 8 χρόνια μπορεί και παραπάνω, κουρεύο τον άντρα μου το γιό μου και πολύς άλλους με τιν πολύ χρήσι άρχισε να ρεταρι φυσιολογικό... αλλά δουλεύει σκυλί μιλάμε ,τώρα ξανά πήρα τιν υδια απλά είναι με καλώδιο δεν περιέχει μπαταρια οπός η προηγούμενη δεν με πειράζει καθόλου... τιμή 18.90 με τα έξοδα αποστολής. Την συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.
Quite a good shaving/trimming machine, as long as you don't want it completely clean-shaven. Meaning, you won't have a military shave, it leaves some stubble that makes you look unshaven for 1-2 days. Other than that, it is quite powerful, user-friendly, cleans very easily, appears to be of good quality, the cord is long enough, and it doesn't heat up while using it
Αρκετά καλή ξυριστικη/κουρευτική μηχανή, αρκεί να μη θες να τα πάρει τελείως. Δλδ δε θα έχεις ξύρισμα για στρατό, αφήνει λίγα μούσια που μοιάζεις αξύριστος 1-2 ημερών. I cut my hair (by myself) every 2 months, and if necessary, I also cut a friend's hair.
Shaving depends on the weather, and also on the body.
The machine has seen a lot of use. It has fallen and a tooth from the top comb has broken, but other than that, with good cleaning after each use, it has never disappointed me.
Έχω την QC5120(!) που είναι σχεδόν ίδιο μοντέλο εδώ και περίπου 13 χρόνια.
Κουρεύομαι (μόνος μου) κάθε 2 μήνες, κι άμα τύχει κουρεύω και κάποιο φίλο.
Ξύρισμα ανάλογα με τον καιρό, και στο σώμα.
Η μηχανή έχει δεί πάρα πολλή χρήση. Μου έχει πέσει και έχει σπάσει ένα δόντι από το χτενάκι επάνω, αλλά πέρα από αυτό, με καλό καθάρισμα μετά από κάθε χρήση, δεν με έχει απογοητεύσει ποτέ.
POSITIVES: satisfactory trimming, very lightweight, quite cheap.
NEGATIVES: Works only with a cord, fake and very fragile plastic attachments, therefore with light use the lock on the blades broke so it does not secure well.
It trims moderately to well because it does not have enough power for hair and tends to get stuck especially in thick hair.
ΘΕΤΙΚΑ: ικανοπoιητικό trimming, πολύ ελαφριά, αρκετά φθηνή.
ΑΡΝΗΤΙΚΑ: Δουλεύει μόνο με καλώδιο, ψεύτικα και πάρα πολύ εύθραυστα πλαστικά εξαρτήματα, για αυτό
με ελαφριά χρήση έσπασε το κούμπωμα στις λεπίδες ώστε να μη στερεώνεται καλά.
Κουρεύει μέτρια προς καλά γιατί δεν έχει τόσο καλή ισχύ για μαλλιά και ψιλοκολλάει ειδικά σε πυκνό μαλλί.
The machine is a beast. My previous machine was also a Philips with a cord (no battery) and I used it about 6-7 times a month for shaving and haircuts for a whole 9 years! A workhorse. When the front plastic broke, I preferred to get a new one because I was tired of it after so many years, and mainly because the part that broke cost half the price—including shipping—of this particular machine. I hadn't decided what model I would get or whether it would be corded or cordless, but what I knew for sure was that it would be Philips.
So after a brief search, I ended up with this one due to positive reviews and high ratings. I've had it for a year now and it works perfectly. I believe this one will also prove to be a WORKHORSE like the previous one. Time will tell.
If you want something cheap and of good quality, I wholeheartedly advise you to get this one.
Update: 29/10/2025 Still going strong as expected. A workhorse.
Η μηχανή θερίζει. Η προηγούμενη μηχανή που είχα ήταν επίσης Philips με καλώδιο (χωρίς μπαταρία) και την χρησιμοποιούσα κάπου 6-7 φορές το μήνα για ξύρισμα και κούρεμα για 9 ολόκληρα χρόνια! Σκυλί. Όταν έσπασε το μπροστινό πλαστικό προτίμησα να πάρω μια καινούργια γιατί την είχα βαρεθεί τόσα χρόνια που την είχα, και το κυριότερο, γιατί το εξάρτημα που έσπασε έβγαινε στη μισή τιμή -μαζί με μεταφορικά- της συγκεκριμένης μηχανής. Δεν είχα αποφασίσει τι μοντέλο θα έπαιρνα ή αν θα ήταν με/χωρίς καλώδιο αυτό όμως που ήξερα στα σίγουρα ήταν ότι θα ήταν Philips.
Έτσι λοιπόν μετά από μια σύντομη αναζήτηση κατέληξα σε αυτήν λόγω θετικών κριτικών και υψηλής βαθμολογίας. Πλέον την έχω για ένα χρόνο και δουλεύει κανονικότατα. Πιστεύω ότι και αυτή θα αποδειχθεί ΣΚΥΛΙ όπως η προηγούμενη. Μένει να δούμε.
Αν θέλετε κάτι φθηνό και ποιοτικό σας συμβουλεύω με κλειστά μάτια να πάρετε τη συγκεκριμένη.

Very good machine as long as it is used simply as a trimmer. With its comb on top, it doesn't do such a good job. However, for "cleaning" at low settings or for someone looking for a shaving machine to shave their face, it is the best "cheap" option. The fact that it is powered by electricity without a battery may have the negative aspect of not being wireless, but it extends its life significantly, even in professional use.
Πολυ καλη μηχανη εφ οσον χρησιμοποιηθει απλα ως τριμμερ. Με το χτενακι της επανω δεν κανει και τοσο καλη δουλεια.Για ''καθαρισμα'' ομως στα χαμηλα η για καποιον που ψαχνει μια κουρευτικη για να ξυριζει το προσωπο του ειναι η καλυτερη ''φθηνη''. Το οτι ειναι ρευματος χωρις μπαταρια μπορει να εχει το αρνητικο της ασυρματης χρησης παρατεινει τη ζωη της ομως κατα πολυ ακομα και σε επαγγελματικη χρηση.
